International Champions Cup North America Live
Picture this: Perennial contender for FIFA Player of the Year, Cristiano Ronaldo of Juventus, taking a pass from teammate Aaron Ramsey, dribbling past Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos and blasting a goal past goalkeeper Keylor Navas in front of a screaming crowd of 100,000 people. Normally, you'd have to be in Europe to witness this kind of marquee soccer action, but not when the International Champions Cup comes to North America each year. The North American portion of the Champions Cup brings together the most elite clubs in Europe before their respective seasons begin overseas, for an unparalleled display of world-class soccer across 11 U.S. stadiums. A 2014 match between Manchester United and Real Madrid at Michigan Stadium drew 109,318 fans and was in fact the highest attended soccer match ever on U.S. soil. The 2019 tournament features clubs like Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and for the first time, a Mexican team in Guadalajara F.C. The International Women's Cup starts a month after the Men's and features clubs like Lyon, Atlético Madrid, Manchester City and NC Courage.
International Champions Cup North America History
Since 2013, the International Champions Cup has been bringing the best soccer clubs in the world for exciting exhibition matchups in the U.S. What began as a separate cup for each region of the world is now centered primarily in North America, and a single winner is crowned based on the number of points after three round-robin matchups. In 2018, Tottenham Hotspur took home the cup with Borussia Dortmund as the runner-up. The nationwide venues for the tournament include football stadiums with a 70,000+ person capacity like Levi's Stadium in the Bay Area, MetLife Stadium in the New York area, NRG Stadium in Houston and others. Smaller, soccer-specific stadiums also play host to Cup matches like Kansas City's Children's Mercy Park, Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, SeatGeek Stadium near Chicago and more.

The seats were great. The game was even better to witness, also got to see some of my favorite players.
Overall the game was a great time. I was a little disappointed however with the pre game activities. The last 2 ICC games I’ve been to had a bunch of activities in the parking lot for fans, and this had none. Also, they didn’t have the ICC scarfs that they always have.
Won the game ball, had the best seats ever, won a swag bag! The Verizon tent provided us with the opportunity to take pictures with some soccer greats. During halftime, I was presented with the gameball on the field since my wife won a contest. The promoters couldn’t be nicer. Will remember this for the rest of my life since I am the biggest soccer fan in the universe! Thank you!
Missing information on transport details back from stadium to Port Authority, NYC. We didn't know how to find the right parking lot and lost a lot of time searching the right place.
The only thing I didn’t like was that they weren’t selling beer at the seats like they were selling water and soda.
I enjoy a lot this event, also it was very organized.
Great time. Great seats. Great seat attendant. $$beer. Hats off to Atletico!
I have always wanted to watch Real Madrid live because it’s been a dream of mine for many years. It was an amazing experience and my seat selection was amazing right next to the bench.
Good game. Nice seats. My grandsons loved the whole experience.
Great to see Arsenal playing in the US! So many Arsenal fans supporting the Gunners. It was an amazing environment! Hope they return next year!
Everything was so easy. We got our tickets and parking pass in advance and no issues. We walked right in found our awesome seats and had a great time.
Great to see the top players in the world. The announcer was terrible. We don’t need someone yelling at us and loud music to create an atmosphere. Go to a match st Anfield and see how it is done. We had great seats down low. Unfortunately everyone stood up and shorter fans, kids couldn’t see. Should keep certain areas like end zones for fans who want to stand and make it clear other areas are not for those who wish to stand the entire match. Stand in front of a fan at Stamford Brudge and you will he shouted down.
I really enjoyed this friendly match. Arsenal FC and promoters did a great job presenting club and greeting fans. Enjoyed much.
everything was great except for parking...……………$30 way to much!
Once at the event the atmosphere was great. Felt like being in Europe. Parking at the arena and getting there by car always presents a challenge. Public transport was not an option as i was with an elderly gentlemen, and the walk would have been too far from the train station. That aside it was great.
Great club level seats with a great view of the pitch. Pre purchased parking for an easy three minute walk to stadium.
The experience was great. I wish I had taking the day off work. Traffic was traffic was terrible. I would like a do over. I hope Arsenal return very soon.
My son and his friend left Washington DC two hours before the game started, and sat for 40 minutes - 1 hour outside the field waiting to get to the parking area. They arrived 15-20 minutes after the start of the game. The bottleneck need to be fixed. Better yet, have the games at the new Audi field that is specifically for soccer! The game itself was great. Also it should be immediately optional to have tickets sent to ones email or iphone. Thanks
First time seeing an international match between top teams in Europe and the atmosphere was amazing!! Venue was also amazing but I wish my Gunners would have held on for the "W"!!!
