Il Divo, the internationally renowned classical crossover quartet, were formed in the U.K. by television personality and veteran record executive Simon Cowell in 2004. The original lineup reflected the group’s boundless inspirations and universal appeal, with each member hailing from a different country: tenor David Miller from the United States, tenor Urs Bühler from Switzerland, baritone Sébastien Izambard from France, and the late baritone Carlos Marín from Spain. Starting with their 2004 self-titled debut album, Il Divo have released five Top 10 albums and sold over 30 million records worldwide. 2005’s Ancora became Il Divo’s first No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and their 2009 world tour earned the group the Billboard Breakthrough Award for making Billboard Boxscore’s top tour recap for the first time in their career. Over two decades, the quartet have experimented with a blend of opera and pop, reinventing standards from Motown to Christmas classics and collaborating with Celine Dion, Toni Braxton, Leona Lewis, and more. Following the loss of Marín in December 2021, in 2023, American baritone Steven LaBrie became a full-time member.

What a wonderful night we had at the concert and casino is beautiful decorated for the holidays!
Sorry I paid so much for these tickets, parking and dinner.
The orchestra was great. Il Divo seemed to have some problems. Two of the members were struggling and it made for an unpleasant experience. It’s difficult to maintain the quality of twenty years ago. Changes are needed.
Wow! What a show, well received and what beautiful voices. The overall performance was very moving. Gets you into the holiday spirit. I was reminiscing of past childhood Christmases and brought to tears a number of times. Highly recommend!!! Bravo
Having been to a number of concerts never been to anything as well as this! Can't describe how GOOD this was!!
This was my 6th time seeing this wonderful group. As always, they put on a great show. Their voices and their harmony are magnificent. My only problem was my seat. I had a front seat in front of a curtain and speakers. It was horrible and difficult to see the stage. For the amount of money I paid for the ticket I should not have been seated there and will never see them at Ocean Casino again! This rating is only for Il Divo, NOT the venue! JM
Il Divo's performance was outstanding, as usual. The new addition - baritone Steven LaBrie - is phenomenal. The only "reservation"is that it was not announced as a Christmas concert. There were too many Christmas songs but, at least, the singers' performance was excellent as usual. We'll continue to follow them and enjoy them in their future performances.
Fantastic!! Love their voices and their song selections were wonderful!!
I have been listening to the music for at least 15 years and I love how they sang and they were wonderful at the premier theater at Foxwood
These men always give an amazing performance and this concert was seasonal and entertaining. The staging was not as dramatic as in past performances but this was the first time I saw them at Foxwoods. I have seen them many times before and plan to see them many times in the future!
Il Divo always gives 150% to their audiences. Their kindness, interaction with the audiences is second to none. They genuinely appreciate that we came out to see them perform. They sing with a live orchestra and love when the audience sings with them and encourage the audience to turn on the lights on their phones. They are also very supportive of one another on and off stage. It’s a truly magical evening and they leave you wanting more.
It was wonderful seeing IL Divo. I haven’t seen them since before Covid and this was a great time to enjoy their holiday music. The show was wonderful, the new bass is fabulous. I enjoyed all the classic songs and I can’t wait for the release of their new CD!
Everything was absolutely amazing. All the guys were great and the acoustics in the theater was just right. I would definitely go to another one of their concerts
Il Divo was excellent as always. Some of the interactions with the audience fell flat. The music and singing were top notch
Loved the Christmas scenery; the orchestra was fantastic; and the guys......always amazing! Sad to learn of Carlos's passing (missed him) but Steven is a wonderful addition to the group. Enjoyed the night from start (on time, too) to the end (the very end)!! Come back to CT soon!
I have waited years to see them in concert here in Connecticut. It was well worth the wait. They were sensational. I had tears of happiness streaming from my eyes most of the way throughout the show. They were epic! I've never seen so many standing ovations for a single singing group. I hope they come back again.
Went with a friend, liked some of the music but several numbers fell short of what they're clearly capable of. Too much "banter"and not very amusing, too many plugs for their next CD. Many times we had to cover our eyes from a blinding obnoxious spotlight, which many others must have experienced.
Perfect venue. Clean, ornate, readily accessible Acoustics allowed me to hear all singing. Started on time...Orchestra and selection of instruments fully complemented the singers' voices. How can you beat strings? Synthesizer perfect on "Amazing Grace". Just like having a piper present. Just enough banter to engage the audience without interfering with the singing. Carlos's replacement powerful. Song selection excellent. Been waiting three years to hear them in person- well-worth the wait. No words to describe Il Divo's sound and love for their music. Their music is still in my head.
The Christmas show was wonderful. Brought tears to my eyes. Perfect ❤️
I know exactly what to expect when I go to a IL DIVO concert. Perfection! Their voices are heavenly. I love the banter between them especially David’s comments. They sang their new song, Crazy; Christmas songs and surprised me by singing my favorite, Somewhere, from West Side Story. Hearing them sing that always brings tears to my eyes. I try to see them every time they’re in the NYC area. If you’re never seen them perform live, get yourself a ticket and go! You won’t be sorry.
