Eve was the truth Doug e fresh shut it down and fat joe was doin his thing to but ice cube put on a show also
The show was great, however, the way Boardwalk Hall handled no purses bigger than a clutch weren't allowed was HORRIBLE! !!!!!! Something should have been posted on the website.
I attend the hip hop show every year and I must say this one was the WORST ever. There was much too much Mother F___ing from Ice Cube. Eve was off beat, and everyone else went from bad to worst. The best of the night was Doughy Fresh as usual. The only next best thing were my seats. They were excellent .
Just saw Ice-Cube along with Snoop,Kurupt, Warren G, The Game and Xhibit at the "How the West was Won" concert in Irvine. These guys brought the house down..no joke! Ice-Cube brought some EZ-E stuff, NWA and did his popular songs and it was amazing! He's such a good rapper, I will pay to see him again. The concert lasted 6 hours long..so just imaging listening to all your smokeout jams for 6 hours straight...smoking some Kush while sitting under the stars :) = Epic!
This concert was like an old school family reunion. Had great seats (there really isn't bad seats at Chene), great date, well worth the price of admission. I guess being crazy in love with Ice Cube doesn't hurt either. Love him (lol) !
This concert was a MUST SEE! I personally have seen Ice Cube 3x and he gave 100%! I loved Digital Underground's tribute to 2Pac was AmaZinG! Geto Boys was a treat to see as well. West Coast represented! Overall show was graded A-.
I love Ice Cube. I am GOING to see him EVERY time he comes to the D or anywhere around the D. He delivered a slammin performance, as usual! I liked Digital Underground and Ghetto Boys too, but not when the one guy was talking about P***y and wouldn't stop. I mean, he just went on and on and I didn't like that. That is NOT what I paid my money to see! However, Cube made it worth my while. I LOVE YOU, O'Shea (no disrespect Mrs. Jackson)!
The concert was amazing!! It was a great price for all the entertainers that came that night. Chene Park in Detroit had it altogether. My tickets were ready, I didn't have to wait in line and my seats were great. Can't wait till next year for another Return of Legends Concert!!
The concert was the bomb, me and my husband really had a ball!!!
Loved all the performences, surprised at how well Digital Underground performed. Devin the Dude and MC Eiht were excellent and Yo Yo did well also. Ice Cube rocked the house and The Geto Boys made my night! The drinks were 200 to 300% higher than the regular price for example a double shot of Remy Martin was $26.00 so I wasn't happy about that but overall the event was fantastic! Before I forget WC did a great job assisting Ice Cube!
Yo-Yo, MC Eiht, Devin the Dude, Digital Underground, Geto Boys & of course Ice Cube & Dub-C were all great. The only reason this wasn't a 5 star show was the sound was WAY TOO LOUD. The artist mics were clearly drowned out by the music. I've been to plenty of jazz/R&B shows at Chene Park & the sound has been great but they were not ready for this show.
I was a bit hesitant to go since he's been doing all these kid movies/shows. But I honestly admit we had a great time. He stayed true to his old music, and the new stuff actually isn't bad. It honestly was one of the best shows I've been to in a while. The crowd was great.
Ice Cube & Dub C were as stupendous as always! The show started later than everyone expected, but when they came out it was on! The non-stop performance was skillfully done and age had nothing to do with the displayed sheer exceptional skills that they both have. The entertainment was well worth the cheap ticket prices and they are as usual a force to be reckoned with for sure!
I been to more than 20 rap concerts, and this was the best I ever seen. Ice Cube is tha BOMB!!!!
Ice Cube was cool.Their should have been table and chairs. Yes,I know the tickets would have benn a little more. But I would have paid! It! It would have been worth it!
ICE CUBE WAS HANDS DOWN THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE BEEN TO IN AWHILE. HE HAD THE CROWD GOING AND PUMPED!!! LOVED IT. HE IS AN AWESOME PERFORMER!!!! HE DID SOME OLD SCHOOL AND SOME OF HIS NEW STUFF. AND HIS SONS CAME OUT AND PERFORMED. THEY WERE REALLY GOOD ALSO!!! IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO GO SEE HIM DONT MISS OUT!!! THE VENUE WAS COOL TOO!!! WE WERE LITERALLY RIGHT UP FRONT. HAD AN AWESOME TIME!!!!! HE IS TRULY A GREAT PERFORMER!!!
It was great to hear from our bad boy Ice Cube and see him live particularly after he said he would not return to our rowdy city post a major gun fight and disturbance... only in Seattle... and L.A. and Chicago and New York... anyway... he did return and did a great show, however it was a little short man... You got a good gig going on and we came, we danced and sang to your old school. Just wish we had more bruddah, just wish we had more!!! Luv you even when your old, gray and on the porch in your rockin chair... you still ROCK!!!
Very Good Show! Ice Cube was full of energy and the sound in the venu was excellent for the show. Would go again....
