  • Cube was the shizell! ;-).

by Fishman248 on 4/9/11Showbox at the Market - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great. Cube voice was a little hoarse but, he still had he jumping and I'm fifty years old. Only negative thing for me was the sound system. Those house speakers had to be the ones in there when I saw Dire straights. Great show and very fun time. Thank You

  • Still got it.

The Ice Cube show at the Showbox Market was awesome! He is a great entertainer and was a good venue to see him at. He played mostly his older hits, which the crowd loved. The venue is great - you can pretty much see from anywhere.

  • Had a good time

by Raternation on 4/6/11City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Ice Cube did his older music which was awaome, mixed in his new music. WC added to the show, then his sons Dough Boy and OMG came out to perform with him. Show was off the hook!!!!

  • SOLD OUT SHOW! Ice Cube Was Late But Still Great!

by Novelist73 on 4/4/11House of Blues - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

This was the second time my sister and I saw Ice Cube. The show was sold out which made us glad that we got our tickets two months ago as well as VIP seating. The show was supposed to start at 7:30 but we were still standing outside of the venue at that time, and once we got in we had to wait for 2 1/2 hours before he came on, and no, there were no opening acts. About a half hour before he came on a fight broke out in the pit right below where my sister and I were seated at where beer, blood and fists were flying everywhere (sorry, didn't get pics or video of it, LOL). I expected this because it was taking way too long and there was no excuse to have a 7:30 start time and he did not come on until a little bit after 10:00, especially since there were no opening acts. But when he did come on he rocked it hard as well as Dub C, and took us back to all of his famous hits. Like in 2009 when I saw him for the very first time I danced hard and sung along to the songs since I knew the words to most of them. Ice Cube really knows his audience and what they like and that's what I like, however, he didn't sing my favorite Go To Church, like what he did the last time he was here. Nevertheless, it was a great show with the exception of the fights, weed smoking and regular smoking neither of which was allowed in the venue but it's what I expect when I go to shows like this, LOL. He also told us all in the audience that people were saying that he should retire but there is no way that a rap legend is gonna retire when he still has sold out shows! I just wish he didn't take that long to come on, but course when he comes back here I'll go see him again!

  • Ice Cube's performance was AMAZING!!!

by DAMORA on 4/3/11City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Ice Cube really made his audience party! It was ALL about the music. No stage props like models, fireworks or any other unecessary crap, and didn't use an opening act. It was the best rap concert i've attended. He stayed true to his music fans and didn't show any "hollywood" crap. Even as a super star he still kept it 100% gangsta! I went with a group of 10 and we had such a great time and would not stop talking about it till a few days after. Ice Cube gave us so much more than the ticket was worth. Ice Cube is a true genius!!!

by 1Chrismiss on 4/3/11City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Ice Cube's performance was fabulous! There wasn't an opening act..IceCube just hit the stage and ripped it. Dub C was his hype man, so to speak, and he was great too. This was my first time seeing Ice Cube live and it was a treat. Everyone in the crowd was rocking. The venue was perfect.

  • ice cube's a pimp

by dvschick on 4/3/11City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

great show, started late, but to be expected. great to see dub c, still looking great after all these years. really felt old when ice cube's kids came out and did a song, no drama and no fights at the show.

  • Yay, yay! Ice Cube was great!

by Latinaqueen on 4/3/11City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Cube kept it real. No dancers, no video shows. Just gansta rap. Took me down memory lane.

  • Ice Cube always shows up and shows out! Awesome

by Resdogg on 4/3/11City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Show was packed! After all, the tickets were 35. The venue is small so u can pretty much see anywhere u stand. Had a club vibe (which means it was Fricking HOT in there) and the good majority was smoking weed. Show started at 8:30 Cube didn't come out til about 9:40-9:45. Sounds long but the music the DJ played while we were waiting was so good no one realized how long we were waiting. Felt like a club up in there. Cube came out and performed about and hour with WC. They performed about 18 songs. WC sang his new single. Ice Cubes 2 sons came out and performed a song with their dad towards the end. They are pretty good rappers. Cube always puts on a good show. He kept the crowd Hyped. U can tell he cares and appreciates his fans. He did a little bit of everything. He did music from NWA-Present. If your a Cube fan don't pass up a chance to see him. U wont be dissapointed. Everyone got along, no fights nothing! I gotta say that WAS A GOOD DAY! (I know this review is all over the place but i didn't wanna leave anything out LOL). *Laugh, Love, Live, Life, Go To A Concert*

  • Ice Cube 2011

by kaution102 on 4/3/11City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 4 out of 5

I saw this exact same show 2 or 3 years ago. The show was on time compared to the last time. There were no opening acts this time though. Place was packed to capacity but i still managed to get my way to the front. I was dissapointed that he only performed 3 songs of the new album which i really enjoyed but the rest of the show was good, did alot of classics, some songs i never thought he would have performed like natural born killaz. It was a good show, he brought out his sons and WC to help out which was cool, id give the show 5 stars had he done more newer material and if the show would have been longer, i think it was 2 hours long, it could have gone longer.

  • nobody like ice cube

by Cptmike on 4/3/11City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Good energy, WC was a good help because he's another west coast OG rapper. I liked that ice cube stayed on the stage the whole time even when 3 other up & coming rappers performed. Ice Cube did about 90% of his hit songs, but the one & only thing that I was disappointed about was that he didnt do "Friday". The day of the concert ACTUALLY being on a friday, I thought he was saving it for last or something but nothing. Other than that if you grew up in the 90s with the west coast movement, this is a good show to be at.

  • Ice Cube was the BOMB!!!!

    by MsBerry76 on 3/27/11Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - MilwaukeeRating: 4 out of 5

I have waited so long to see Ice Cube in person and it has finally happened. Performing at a larger facility would definitely make the next performance 5 star. He still looks good and did a great performance. He sang many songs and allowed his sons to do a song too which was cool. Can't wait for the next time. I would love to see him with some other artists.

Excellent Performance. He looked great, sounded excellent, and his energy level was not to be played with. Made me remember why I love Rap!

  • Ice cube puts on a show!!!!

by CarlosTHEgreat on 3/17/11nokia theater - los angelesRating: 5 out of 5

you will never be dissapointed when he hits the stage, the energy. He actually goes through most of his greatest hits and unlike many other rap shows and artists he actually raps entire songs not just hooks or intros. very very well worth your money. specially because he almost always has a surprise guest rapper or two. I just saw him last year and im going again!
