About

I PREVAIL IN CONCERT:

Post-hardcore punks I Prevail haven't let up since they first grabbed fans' attention with their incendiary cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" in 2014. The band sets itself apart from the pack with a unique mix of raw punk energy, catchy hooks, and electronic textures, and in concert it all gets turned up to 11 with mosh pit-inspiring standouts like "Crossroads", "Love, Lust, and Liars", and "The Enemy". Clean singer Brian Burkheiser carries the melodies on their calm segments before screamer Eric Vanlerberghe unleashes the beast on their savage breakdowns. It's a yin-yang approach that never fails to fire up crowds at their infectiously high-energy live shows. For their Strike the Match Tour in 2016, I Prevail is teaming up with The White Noise and My Enemies & I to bring their memorable choruses and hard-hitting tones to ticket buyers across North America.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Since they first came together in Southfield, MI in 2013, I Prevail has quickly gone from local favorite to viral sensation. The group – initially comprised of Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (scream vocals), Steve Menonian (lead guitar), Jordan Berger (rhythm guitar), and Lee Runestad (drums) – immediately started recording demos following their first rehearsals. Things took off when they released their post-hardcore version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which received over 20 million views on YouTube and was featured on the compilation Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 6. Their 2015 debut EP Heart Vs. Mind garnered more attention for the group, helping them land opening spots for artists like Crown the Empire, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Evil. I Prevail thrilled fans with the announcement of their headlining Strike the Match Tour in 2016, where they brought venues like the Tabernacle to capacity all across the U.S. and Canada.

  • All 4 bands were on fire

    by Laura4N6RN on 8/3/24Ameris Bank Amphitheatre - AlpharettaRating: 5 out of 5

Each band was amazing and very gracious. Hollywood Undead was wonderful when they brought those kids up on stage and just rocked out. Hailstorm- she is an amazing and talented woman and they all were very very tight. Could have done without drum solo. I Prevail was also tight, very gracious and very loud. The light and video site was so synchronized and creative Ithe pictures I took didn't do them justice. It was well over a hundred degrees in Atlanta that night and the venue could have turned the fans up a little faster or done something to cool everybody off including the bands.

  • An AMAZING show!

by Kelsey K. on 7/25/24Pine Knob Music Theatre - ClarkstonRating: 5 out of 5

The show put on by all performers was amazing! I Prevail captivated the audience, Halestorm engaged with fans, Hollywood Undead really got the party going, and Fit For A King set the stage for an awesome night! The TRUE HERO of the event was the associate at Pine Knob helping to point out open stalls in the women's restroom. She kept the line moving so efficiently and in a kind manner so that everyone could get through the line quickly between performances. I didn't catch her name, but she truly helped to make the evening fantastic!

  • Feel its not a headliner band

by Mykhailo on 7/24/24Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre - Tinley ParkRating: 2 out of 5

After average Fit for a King(5.5/10), impressive Hollywood Undead(9/10) and unspeakable Halestorm(100/10) shows i expected super powerful end from I Prevail. I was familiar with their music and with few song from them and i was fall in love in them. I already saw few live performances on Youtube and expect real good show. But in reality they perform not so good. For song Body Bag what i was waiting the most, they sing and perform really different and far from call this “good”. All time what they perform was raw, All elements of the performance (except the lead guitar) felt the opposite of exciting. For me show was disappointment, personally it feels like 3/10. I was expecting more from guys what i know and comes as headliners, but feels worst than special guests.

  • Halestorm and I Prevail

by Jennifer C on 7/24/24Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre - Tinley ParkRating: 5 out of 5

I bought the tickets for Halestorm and their set was absolutely perfect for me. I knew some of the I Prevail songs but honestly all 4 bands did amazing and I definitely had an absolute blast. 🤘

  • Merch

by Amanda on 7/24/24Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre - Tinley ParkRating: 3 out of 5

I would’ve loved having bigger sizes of merch available. Got to the venue at 6 and all the 3x and 2x were gone in the shirts I wanted. Kind of bummed my husband and I out. The bands were great though.

Fit for a king and Hollywood Undead were great set ups. I replay in my head that night and will cherish it forever. Thank you, I prevail for being you, you will never know how much of an impact your music creates. For me it has brought me through some of my darkest days. Can't wait to catch the next near by soon. • Best new band, yet 10 years old.

by Razbass on 7/20/24Leader Bank Pavilion - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I Prevail was announced as a co headliner with one of my favorite bands, Halestorm. Just learned their music three months ago, and they have turned into one of my favorite bands. Incredible mix and style of music. They brought more energy to the crowd, than any other band I’ve seen. Over 150 concerts too. Last two concerts in Boston and New Hampshire, were five star. All the way. I had so much fun, thanks to I prevail. A new, dedicated fan. Can’t wait till they solo and sing more songs. Highly recommend.

by Mike on 7/18/24Pine Knob Music Theatre - ClarkstonRating: 5 out of 5

Show was great little un organized in beginning had early entry but they let pepole take cuts should lime up to go to pit was little unfair rude pushing and running to pit

  • Awesome, like usual

by Jessica B on 7/17/24Pine Knob Music Theatre - ClarkstonRating: 5 out of 5

First, I Prevail is always awesome. Great band, great energy, great songs, and on and on. Halestorm, Hollywood Undead, and Fit For A King also all killed it. Second, ticket prices are fair (as long as they aren't resale.) Good seats, for not a terrible price. Third, Pine Knob is always a fun venue. Lots of parking, bathrooms usually clean for venue bathrooms. Attendants, vendors, security are nice and helpful. Cons: I wish Pine Knob was still selling Triple Berry tallboys. The bands' merch truck had some issues, but staff was great at keeping us updated.
