About

I PREVAIL IN CONCERT:

Post-hardcore punks I Prevail haven't let up since they first grabbed fans' attention with their incendiary cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" in 2014. The band sets itself apart from the pack with a unique mix of raw punk energy, catchy hooks, and electronic textures, and in concert it all gets turned up to 11 with mosh pit-inspiring standouts like "Crossroads", "Love, Lust, and Liars", and "The Enemy". Clean singer Brian Burkheiser carries the melodies on their calm segments before screamer Eric Vanlerberghe unleashes the beast on their savage breakdowns. It's a yin-yang approach that never fails to fire up crowds at their infectiously high-energy live shows. For their Strike the Match Tour in 2016, I Prevail is teaming up with The White Noise and My Enemies & I to bring their memorable choruses and hard-hitting tones to ticket buyers across North America.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Since they first came together in Southfield, MI in 2013, I Prevail has quickly gone from local favorite to viral sensation. The group – initially comprised of Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (scream vocals), Steve Menonian (lead guitar), Jordan Berger (rhythm guitar), and Lee Runestad (drums) – immediately started recording demos following their first rehearsals. Things took off when they released their post-hardcore version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which received over 20 million views on YouTube and was featured on the compilation Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 6. Their 2015 debut EP Heart Vs. Mind garnered more attention for the group, helping them land opening spots for artists like Crown the Empire, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Evil. I Prevail thrilled fans with the announcement of their headlining Strike the Match Tour in 2016, where they brought venues like the Tabernacle to capacity all across the U.S. and Canada.

This was the first time I've seen Fit For A King, Hollywood Undead, and I Prevail, and I was extra highly satisfied!

  • Great concert!!!

by Jackie M on 8/10/24Park City Arena - Park CityRating: 5 out of 5

I loved this concert! All 4 bands were amazing! Would highly recommend. Park City Arena is a great place to see a concert, not a bad seat in the house.

  • Halestrorm, I Prevail, Hollywood Undead, FFAK

    by .. on 8/10/24Ameris Bank Amphitheatre - AlpharettaRating: 4 out of 5

Great performances overall by all bands. It is a great venue, great sound set up and spectacular crowd involvement from Hollywood Undead (bringing kids on stage). Highly rec to see these bands if you can, will def see them again in the future!

  • Awesome concert

by TW on 8/9/24Park City Arena - Park CityRating: 5 out of 5

All the bands were great. Sounds was amazing. Seats were great and reasonably priced.

  • Horrible sound mix.

by Brad on 8/9/24Park City Arena - Park CityRating: 1 out of 5

I was excited to see the bands, but the sound mix was horrible. The first time I've left a concert early. The bands and the fans deserve to sound top notch everytime they play no matter where they play.

  • Great night overall

by Brandon on 8/9/24Park City Arena - Park CityRating: 4 out of 5

Had barely heard of Hollywood undead before going but they absolutely stole the show! I would have been happy to watch a whole show of just Fit For a King and Hollywood Undead. Halestorm was fine, felt phoned in at times, I have seen them before where the performance was better and felt a bit of let down after the energy of the first two. I prevail brought it back around and closed out a great night. Disappointed Lzzy didn’t do the song with I prevail, honestly won’t be buying a ticket for a Halestorm show anytime soon again unless the other acts are just can’t miss. Bring back Fit For a King and Hollywood Undead anytime!

  • Loved I Prevail!

by Ksugurl on 8/9/24Park City Arena - Park CityRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing I Prevail, and we were not disappointed. Such a great show!

  • Amazing show

by Linz on 8/9/24Park City Arena - Park CityRating: 5 out of 5

Venue had tons of places to get food and drinks. Show changed sets between bands quickly. It was pretty warm in there, everyone was fanning themselves. Bands were very interactive with the audience, light show was on another level. They sounded SO good live!!! I will definitely go see them again!

  • Amazing!!

One of the best concerts I've been too. Loved the crowd interaction from the bands and wow, so entertaining.

  • Great show

by BigKev on 8/9/24Park City Arena - Park CityRating: 5 out of 5

Fit for a king rocked! Hollywood Undead rocked! Halestorm rocked! All 3 of them sounded great! I Prevail rocked but needed to adjust their sound for the venue. Super distorted. As far as Hartman arena, great venue but get some traffic control folks out there and quit price gouging people on food and drinks! All in all, excellent show!

  • Killed it

by Chris on 8/9/24Park City Arena - Park CityRating: 5 out of 5

All the bands were great at the show. Time between sets was minimal compared to other concerts I've been too. Great work to all.

  • I love these bands

by Chutsell on 8/9/24Park City Arena - Park CityRating: 2 out of 5

I absolutely love these bands. It’s what I listen to every single day, but I don’t know if the problem was with the sound crew or specifically with the venue, but I could not understand a single word that was said most of the concert and neither could anybody that I was with we were sitting in section 102 to the stage and all I could hear was the guitars screaming. I tried walking around the venue to see if it would make a difference and it really didn’t do Much, it unfortunately did put a bad taste in my mouth because I’ve been to some amazing concerts but something was just off. My guest ended up leaving one hour early. I stayed for the whole concert, but I just wished for a better experience.

  • Rockin Out 🤘🏼🤘🏼

by Grogan on 8/9/24Park City Arena - Park CityRating: 5 out of 5

Park City Arena, formerly Hartman Arena is an awesome venue with no bad seats in the whole place. Acoustics are great, facilities clean and easily accessible. All the bands were amazing and I haven’t seen a bad show there yet. Halestorm was the reason we went and as always they didn’t fail to rock our faces off!! Loved it and looking forward to the next show in October.

by Kayso on 8/8/24PNC Music Pavilion - CharlotteRating: 3 out of 5

Got to see the opening bands and halestorm which was fantastic but I prevail only got to play a few songs and we had to leave because of severe weather.
