About

I PREVAIL IN CONCERT:

Post-hardcore punks I Prevail haven't let up since they first grabbed fans' attention with their incendiary cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" in 2014. The band sets itself apart from the pack with a unique mix of raw punk energy, catchy hooks, and electronic textures, and in concert it all gets turned up to 11 with mosh pit-inspiring standouts like "Crossroads", "Love, Lust, and Liars", and "The Enemy". Clean singer Brian Burkheiser carries the melodies on their calm segments before screamer Eric Vanlerberghe unleashes the beast on their savage breakdowns. It's a yin-yang approach that never fails to fire up crowds at their infectiously high-energy live shows. For their Strike the Match Tour in 2016, I Prevail is teaming up with The White Noise and My Enemies & I to bring their memorable choruses and hard-hitting tones to ticket buyers across North America.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Since they first came together in Southfield, MI in 2013, I Prevail has quickly gone from local favorite to viral sensation. The group – initially comprised of Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (scream vocals), Steve Menonian (lead guitar), Jordan Berger (rhythm guitar), and Lee Runestad (drums) – immediately started recording demos following their first rehearsals. Things took off when they released their post-hardcore version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which received over 20 million views on YouTube and was featured on the compilation Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 6. Their 2015 debut EP Heart Vs. Mind garnered more attention for the group, helping them land opening spots for artists like Crown the Empire, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Evil. I Prevail thrilled fans with the announcement of their headlining Strike the Match Tour in 2016, where they brought venues like the Tabernacle to capacity all across the U.S. and Canada.

  • So much fun

    by pretzel0808 on 11/7/22Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

The band had great energy and the set list was amazing! The only thing that could have been better was the sound quality. It sounded like there was something wrong with the sound system for all the bands. But the band didn't let it effect their performance and still put on one of the best I Prevail shows I've seen in Denver.

  • Epic Concert

by Joseph K on 11/7/22Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

This show was awesome! I love their songs already, but seeing them live was even cooler. There was an epic mosh pit in the center of the crowd, but everyone was safe with it and would pick you up if you fell. I would totally see I Prevail in concert again!

  • Amazing Night!!!

by Ashlyn on 11/6/22Revolution Concert House & Event Center - Garden CityRating: 5 out of 5

The I Prevail concert was absolutely amazing! Started off with Stand Atlantic, one of my favorite bands that I never thought I'd get to see live. Then Fit For a King, whom I'd never heard before, but they were awesome! Then Pierce the Veil, another childhood favorite and they sounded absolutely perfect! And finally I Prevail. They were absolutely incredible and after their set when we chanted for one more song, they came back out and gave us two more! Honestly, best night of my life.

  • Best Halloween Ever!

by Arti on 11/4/22Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

Great line-up with 4 fantastic bands! I Prevail in particular played all of my favorites, I couldn't believe how stacked the setlist was! We showed them all what Reno is made of, which is plenty of loud voices dying for more rock acts to come through town :)

  • This was the best show I have seen hands down.

by Demi on 11/4/22Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

I rocked out and literally lived my teenage dreams at this show! Bands we epic and the venue was great! I would definitely come back and share another experience.

  • Work on the sound

by Alexis W. on 11/4/22Revolution Concert House & Event Center - Garden CityRating: 4 out of 5

The concert itself and the performances the bands put on was amazing! The only complaint I have is that the person responsible for sound made the drums way too loud, overpowering the vocals in most of the songs.

  • Great concert! Would see them again!

by A&L on 11/3/22Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

We had a great time and everything went smoothly. It was nice and loud and all the guest were cool. There was plenty of places to get a drink, we had great seats. No complaints

  • Amazing stage presence.

by Privateer Benny on 11/3/22Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

Got a seat higher up in the theater and the view was spectacular. The sound was excellent, the crowd involvement was great. They played all the right songs, gave some back ground to why they wrote and perform some of the songs. It was a great experience and I will see them again.

  • Awesome

I hadn’t been to a concert in 10 years. My wife wanted to go so I went. I didn’t know the band or any songs when I arrived. The show was excellent. After hearing all the songs I liked it enough to purchase the whole album, Trauma. It was worth seeing, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

  • Good but

by Geo on 11/3/22Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 4 out of 5

The show was really good, the performance was amazing however the crowd was way louder than the performers which kind of sucked and I thought that the volume on the performance could have been louder due to that

  • Amazing

by San Jose, CA on 10/30/22San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first ever experience deciding on my own I wanted to attend especially since i’m a huge Pierce The Veil fan. I never heard any of I Prevails music before this show, and based on the performance they put on and the vibes they had going on I definitely started putting their songs on my playlist. This concert was an absolute blast, I never felt so included with a group of people until this concert. Staff was amazing, everyone was so kind when asking questions and overall this was an amazing experience I would love to relive!!
