I PREVAIL IN CONCERT:
Post-hardcore punks I Prevail haven't let up since they first grabbed fans' attention with their incendiary cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" in 2014. The band sets itself apart from the pack with a unique mix of raw punk energy, catchy hooks, and electronic textures, and in concert it all gets turned up to 11 with mosh pit-inspiring standouts like "Crossroads", "Love, Lust, and Liars", and "The Enemy". Clean singer Brian Burkheiser carries the melodies on their calm segments before screamer Eric Vanlerberghe unleashes the beast on their savage breakdowns. It's a yin-yang approach that never fails to fire up crowds at their infectiously high-energy live shows. For their Strike the Match Tour in 2016, I Prevail is teaming up with The White Noise and My Enemies & I to bring their memorable choruses and hard-hitting tones to ticket buyers across North America.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Since they first came together in Southfield, MI in 2013, I Prevail has quickly gone from local favorite to viral sensation. The group – initially comprised of Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (scream vocals), Steve Menonian (lead guitar), Jordan Berger (rhythm guitar), and Lee Runestad (drums) – immediately started recording demos following their first rehearsals. Things took off when they released their post-hardcore version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which received over 20 million views on YouTube and was featured on the compilation Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 6. Their 2015 debut EP Heart Vs. Mind garnered more attention for the group, helping them land opening spots for artists like Crown the Empire, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Evil. I Prevail thrilled fans with the announcement of their headlining Strike the Match Tour in 2016, where they brought venues like the Tabernacle to capacity all across the U.S. and Canada.
They sound great live and the show was amazing. Had an absolute blast. Would go to every show of theirs if I could.
All the bands we went to see were very good I prevail is the best. I love all of there music!!
The Factory in chesterfield mo. Is one of the best venues i have been to. I have been seeing concerts for 30 years and have seen probably 400 shows
The concert was absolutely amazing and perfect. I had so much fun. I thought everything was great. The lines for merch were short, drinks weren’t that expensive. Everyone was pretty friendly as well. Got into the venue pretty fast
I saw them at WWWYF and wow. AMAZING performance. I went in as a big fan and came out even more impressed. Eric and Brian have incredible vocals, and the band is killer. 6 songs just wasn’t enough, can’t wait to see them again next time they come out my way.
the opening bands stand Atlantic, and fit for a king were amazing. pierce the veil was literally so amazing it’s hard to put into words, and i prevail knew how to work the crowd and was awesome over all. the light show was super cool and the drum solo was to die for. all in all amazing show would see every single band again <3
Although I'm not the biggest fan of the Uptown theatre venue itself, they accommodated very well. Amazing performance by all the bands and great crowd, security was keeping it safe with helping the crowd surfers. It was a GREAT time!!!
I Prevail was everything I anticipated. Great energy, flawless performance, lots of fun and heavy! The Uptown Theater is a beautiful venue but I think they're going to need a big venue next time they come to see Kansas City!
The show was absolutely amazing! Had VIP which made it even better. But the way everything was put together was awesome. Not really any complaints that I can think of personally.
I feel bad for all the people who left after Pierce the Veil, kind of disrespectful to leave before the headliner WHO WAS SO SICK. Y'all missed out. Lame for you, good for us to have more room to move.
The overall experience was a blast! The theater was super easy to find parking, easy to get into, and easy to leave. Everyone was very helpful with the lines for merch and finding our seats. Our seats on the balcony were amazing! We had the best time! Only thing was the microphones should’ve been turned up to hear all the artists more. 10/10 would go back for another event!
Outstanding a complete sellout! Very loud awesome show. It’s great to see hardcore rock is still alive
The band is amazing, put on a fantastic show, and sounded just as good live as they do in the car, maybe even better! Will definitwly be seeing them again!
IPrevail is the best band and puts on the best performance as usual. I have seen them everytime they have been to Colorado since the Rock n Roll car show at bandamire to the Fillmore to red rocks. I will always support an amazing band that truly helped me through a lot of bad times
Iprevail is my favorite band and i have seen them live since their tickets were $20 a ticket. The showmanship has conpletely changed for them. No more cracking jokes onbstage singing covers as a joke, stories all gone. It was a great show and i loved it. Just wish that they didnt lose that personal touch in their shows. The venue was cool but i had seat tickets on my ticket and no seat when i got there so i went to GA. The drinks were also higher than expected. It shouldnt be $18 for a small glass of whiskey and coke. I get inflation happens but there was almost no alcohol in my drink.
Everything about the concert was fantastic. I truly left this concert speechless and pumped. It was the highlight of my year and possibly my life. I will definitely be going to another one!
This was my third seeing IPrevail. They never disappoint.

The concert was amazing! Definitely my favorite out of all of the ones I’ve been to so far, 10/10!!
