About

I PREVAIL IN CONCERT:

Post-hardcore punks I Prevail haven't let up since they first grabbed fans' attention with their incendiary cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" in 2014. The band sets itself apart from the pack with a unique mix of raw punk energy, catchy hooks, and electronic textures, and in concert it all gets turned up to 11 with mosh pit-inspiring standouts like "Crossroads", "Love, Lust, and Liars", and "The Enemy". Clean singer Brian Burkheiser carries the melodies on their calm segments before screamer Eric Vanlerberghe unleashes the beast on their savage breakdowns. It's a yin-yang approach that never fails to fire up crowds at their infectiously high-energy live shows. For their Strike the Match Tour in 2016, I Prevail is teaming up with The White Noise and My Enemies & I to bring their memorable choruses and hard-hitting tones to ticket buyers across North America.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Since they first came together in Southfield, MI in 2013, I Prevail has quickly gone from local favorite to viral sensation. The group – initially comprised of Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (scream vocals), Steve Menonian (lead guitar), Jordan Berger (rhythm guitar), and Lee Runestad (drums) – immediately started recording demos following their first rehearsals. Things took off when they released their post-hardcore version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which received over 20 million views on YouTube and was featured on the compilation Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 6. Their 2015 debut EP Heart Vs. Mind garnered more attention for the group, helping them land opening spots for artists like Crown the Empire, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Evil. I Prevail thrilled fans with the announcement of their headlining Strike the Match Tour in 2016, where they brought venues like the Tabernacle to capacity all across the U.S. and Canada.

  • Greatest Band Ever!!

by Olivia on 11/18/22Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

Except for the misshap during the song Fake, the concert was perfect!! I would go again and again to hear the songs they didnt play, Closure, and Deep End. But thank you for coming back after Fake and giving us most of the show...you only cut out one song. Thank You!!

by Bam108 on 11/18/22House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle BeachRating: 5 out of 5

First time going to the House of blues in Myrtle Beach. All four bands tore the roof off the building and absolutely killed it but venue wise So so so so so so so small way too crowded

  • If you thought it would be good your underestimating it

by Neko on 11/18/22House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely jaw dropping amazing! To the amazing staff that were professional, prepared, and beyond caring! Then the 4 bands that rocked the house! The stage was set up for smooth transitions between sets. The bathroom staff had the ladies line moving smooth and fast so you didn’t have to miss a thing. The wait staff was so considerate about not blocking the stage view as they maneuvered the crowds. The crowd was electric and the bands energy kept it going all night!

  • Amazing show, great atmosphere

by Tori Hagendorf on 11/18/22House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Post hardcore bands in general never disappoint, but with this being the first time I ever saw I Prevail I was absolutely blown away. The set list was a perfect mix of super heavy and mellow rock. I felt safe in the crowd thanks to the band itself and the other fans I was surrounded by. Security team seemed helpful to those who needed it. Overall this was a wonderful experience!

Attended the show at the house of blues in myrtle beach. Line was incredibly long to enter BUT moved really fast. Venue was packed but at 4'9" i was still able to see and move around. The show was incredible! Absolutely all i had hoped for. Every band was amazing! A lot of interaction with the crowd and insane energy from bands and crowd alike!

  • I Prevail must see

by Mojorising on 11/18/22House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle BeachRating: 5 out of 5

I-Prevail is a must see show. They sounded great and have great stage presence. It is the second time seeing them and they keep getting better and better. Their new album is great from start to finish and they have really stepped up there game as artists. Cant wait to see how big this band gets. See them now before the only place you can see them play is huge stadiums.

The whole show was fantastic. We had a blast. All of the bands put on an amazing performance and had everyone singing. The visuals/lighting for pierce the veil and I prevail were absolutely beautiful.

  • Kick Ass!

by jesalue on 11/15/22The Andrew J Brady Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

I Prevail rocked the house! Could have used a little more theatrics for the performance to add to the effects some. But overall they focused on the music, the lyrics and the crowd! I would definitely see them again and plan to in the future.

  • AMAZING SHOW!

by Aleisha on 11/15/22The Andrew J Brady Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Show was amazing. They performed a great show while also ensuring crowd safety!

  • Awesome Facility

by Tyler N. on 11/15/22The Andrew J Brady Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

New building, close to home, sound was amazing! Stage is tall so even further back you can see very well. Only thing that could use some work is the merch lines. They flow out into GA standing and gets messy. Lines were pretty fast though. Food was good too!

  • Venue Needs

by JDavis on 11/15/22The Andrew J Brady Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

Concert was kick ass. IPREVAIL sounded spot on. Venue should install some monitors for our short kings and queens.

  • Incredible!

by L.King on 11/15/22The Andrew J Brady Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was comfortable and a good size. Easy access to food/drink & merch in the back. The show was AMAZING! I was stuck at the back at first but after pierce the veils set was done a lot of people left, so I was able to get pretty close to the stage for Iprevail. All the bands were fantastic!

  • Amazing!

by Nikki Serenity on 11/14/22The Factory - ChesterfieldRating: 5 out of 5

This was such an amazing show but the seltzers were like $11+. Pretty expensive when they’re usually just a few dollars at other places. Everything else was amazing.
