About

I PREVAIL IN CONCERT:

Post-hardcore punks I Prevail haven't let up since they first grabbed fans' attention with their incendiary cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" in 2014. The band sets itself apart from the pack with a unique mix of raw punk energy, catchy hooks, and electronic textures, and in concert it all gets turned up to 11 with mosh pit-inspiring standouts like "Crossroads", "Love, Lust, and Liars", and "The Enemy". Clean singer Brian Burkheiser carries the melodies on their calm segments before screamer Eric Vanlerberghe unleashes the beast on their savage breakdowns. It's a yin-yang approach that never fails to fire up crowds at their infectiously high-energy live shows. For their Strike the Match Tour in 2016, I Prevail is teaming up with The White Noise and My Enemies & I to bring their memorable choruses and hard-hitting tones to ticket buyers across North America.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Since they first came together in Southfield, MI in 2013, I Prevail has quickly gone from local favorite to viral sensation. The group – initially comprised of Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (scream vocals), Steve Menonian (lead guitar), Jordan Berger (rhythm guitar), and Lee Runestad (drums) – immediately started recording demos following their first rehearsals. Things took off when they released their post-hardcore version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which received over 20 million views on YouTube and was featured on the compilation Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 6. Their 2015 debut EP Heart Vs. Mind garnered more attention for the group, helping them land opening spots for artists like Crown the Empire, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Evil. I Prevail thrilled fans with the announcement of their headlining Strike the Match Tour in 2016, where they brought venues like the Tabernacle to capacity all across the U.S. and Canada.

  • PTV should have headlined!

by JenJen on 11/22/22MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

Headliner was meh. Garbled lyrics but decent music. Pierce The Veil should have been the headliner, their set was amazing! MGM Fenway is a great place to see a show.

The crowd was great and security did the best! The venue was a really good size for the amount of people attending and the vibe was the absolute best. Great line up great time

  • Great venue horrible parking

    by Metal22 on 11/21/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 3 out of 5

The Fillmore is a great venue with good seats and easy access to several bars. The Parking is a nightmare. All nearby lots were full, no on street parking. It took us 30 mins to find a lot that was a far walk away. Prob won’t be going back without prepaid parking.

  • AWESOME!

Great lineup, all bands sounded freaking amazing, crowd energy was through the roof. One of best concerts I've been to. Workers were kind and helped everything run super smooth!

While parking at the Fillmore was a mess, the event was amazing. The line moved quick once doors opened. The bands were amazing, as expected. I will be back again.

  • Crowd not too rowdy

by Agencysmile on 11/21/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Bathrooms are great as always. Really loved that security was both on the floor in the pit and at the front of the pit to catch crowd surfers. The crowd did not get too rowdy which I think was better since it was an indoor concert. I didn’t see a single person get hurt. All around great experience

  • Great Performance

Great concert! The audio techs kind of messed up the vocal audio, they were a little too low, but other then that it sounded great!

  • Amazing

by Claudia on 11/21/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

It was one of the best shows I’ve been to so far. Most of the crowd was hyped and in the music. I just wish half the venue didn’t leave after Pierce the Veil and gave I Prevail the respect they deserve on their headlining tour. It was clear to see who came to see who but in the end I still had a great time. Security and Medical were on top of things and the bar staff was friendly and patient. The Fillmore is one of my favorite venues around!

I Prevail put on an amazing show and they are super down to earth guys that really love and care about their fans. A+ guys. The venue did a good job too. There was one incident with a guy trying to fight and they quickly removed him and the show went on. It was a great night!!
