About

I PREVAIL IN CONCERT:

Post-hardcore punks I Prevail haven't let up since they first grabbed fans' attention with their incendiary cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" in 2014. The band sets itself apart from the pack with a unique mix of raw punk energy, catchy hooks, and electronic textures, and in concert it all gets turned up to 11 with mosh pit-inspiring standouts like "Crossroads", "Love, Lust, and Liars", and "The Enemy". Clean singer Brian Burkheiser carries the melodies on their calm segments before screamer Eric Vanlerberghe unleashes the beast on their savage breakdowns. It's a yin-yang approach that never fails to fire up crowds at their infectiously high-energy live shows. For their Strike the Match Tour in 2016, I Prevail is teaming up with The White Noise and My Enemies & I to bring their memorable choruses and hard-hitting tones to ticket buyers across North America.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Since they first came together in Southfield, MI in 2013, I Prevail has quickly gone from local favorite to viral sensation. The group – initially comprised of Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (scream vocals), Steve Menonian (lead guitar), Jordan Berger (rhythm guitar), and Lee Runestad (drums) – immediately started recording demos following their first rehearsals. Things took off when they released their post-hardcore version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which received over 20 million views on YouTube and was featured on the compilation Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 6. Their 2015 debut EP Heart Vs. Mind garnered more attention for the group, helping them land opening spots for artists like Crown the Empire, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Evil. I Prevail thrilled fans with the announcement of their headlining Strike the Match Tour in 2016, where they brought venues like the Tabernacle to capacity all across the U.S. and Canada.

  • Absolutely amazing

by Sam on 11/30/22House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing! Ive seen them multiple times and they never disappoint! Did VIP which im always iffy on because you never know how someone you meet is going to be, and they are the best group of guys, down to earth, and personable. I will see them every time they come near and more than likely will do VIP every time it's offered.

  • Intense

by Brooke on 11/30/22House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

This had of been the best show I’ve ever been to. I prevail had so much power and the crowd was so energetic even for the openers! The mosh was amazing, and I crowd surfed for the first time! Security dropped me (I’m fine not a hard fall) and Brian (lead singer) was giving me a thumbs up to make sure I was okay 🥹🥹🥹

by Em on 11/30/22House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 4 out of 5

It was very hard to actually see. Everyone had their phones up at all times, constantly raising their hands in the air, I could hardly see

  • Great performance, sound quality not so great

by Matt on 11/30/22House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been to a ton of shows from outdoors to inside, including HOB. Not sure if it was the audio equipment or just not great sound techs but that was the only complaint.

  • Crazy

by Blue banshee on 11/30/22House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

I prevail is awesome--this was definitely one of the craziest shows I have been to in a small venue. The crowd surfers were wild! Security was on point so everything was a somewhat controlled chaos but I will see them everytime they come to town. I Love that ENERGY!

  • Best concert ever!

  • Badass!

by Anonymous on 11/26/22The Fillmore Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing performance just wish the Fillmore had a concession, needed food halfway through the show

  • Amazing show! Vendors overcharged for everythin keep receipt

by Steven on 11/26/22The Fillmore Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

The show And band were amazing but the bartender charged me extra for drinks when the refills were supposed to be cheaper. I think I was charged 140 for 4 mixed drinks the first one being 20 and the refills 15. I'm not the best at math but that doesn't add up. Furthermore I went to buy two hoodies. Asked for the number 10. Without warning (because they were low on stock) the vendor gave me two hoodies with designs of a band I didnt ask for and after leaving the venue I noticed. And seen that they charged me the original price of 70$ a hoodie for merchandise that cost less. Keep your receipts and make sure you're getting charged the right prices. Besides that the show and bands were absolutely amazing. Especially Pierce the veil

  • Awesome Show

  • I Precail

by Carly on 11/25/22The Fillmore Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

I Prevail put on one of the best shows I have seen. I had high expectations since this was their hometown show, and this was still beyond expectation. This was my first time seeing them live and I am already excited for another tour announcement. I also purchased their VIP experience, and it was definitely worth it.

  • Absolute Banger

by James on 11/25/22The Fillmore Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Opening band killed it for being someone I had yet to hear of before (stand Atlantic). Amazing energy! Second opener (fit for a king) a bucket list band for me and they did not disappoint. Started out heavy and had an awesome spread of their music. Pierce the Veil never disappoints and that held up here, even stopped the show to make sure someone in the pit got assistance. Finally, i prevail. Being a Detroit band the love was there and the energy through out the entire building was absolute crazy. This concert ranks high on my absolute favorites and I hope to see all these bands again in the future.

such an amazing experience, i screamed every lyric and got every single feeling i was feeling out!

  • Music was great, venue ticketing however….

by Matt on 11/23/22MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Had to buy resale tickets on the day of the concert because our GENERAL ADMISSION tickets put us on the balcony and not on the floor. Nowhere on the Ticketmaster website did it say that GA was on the second floor and I was pissed I had to drop another 300 to get to the pit. It was worth it though, all bands put on a great show
