Interesting presentation 3 and half stars

by Shep2 on 11/12/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

The sole actor was fantastic (5 Star performance). Excellent glimpse into who Lenny was. I would have liked to have had an 5 to 10 minute example of what Lenny’s show was like.

    Impressive

We thought we would feel like we were in the audience at the Catskills watching a Lenny Bruce show. It wasn't that. Good performance but not what we expected

A one-person tour de force. Enjoyed this performance mightily...and actually learned some stuff about Bruce. Highly recommended.

    Lenny Bruce

by Cindy K on 11/5/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

This was one of the best shows that I’ve ever seen. Ronnie Marmo’s portrayal of Lenny Bruce was fabulous. We had front row seats, were part of the audience participation. It was funny, sad, truthful Every a play should be! Wonderful!

    Outstanding performance

by R on 10/29/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

The comedy...Lenny Bruce was carefully portrayed as he honestly was. He had a strong way with words that also was clear and smartly revived. He had a strength to stand up to the world without being sorry. This was his strength, beauty and talent. One must overlook the language that some might name as crude and look beyond the language to a true beautiful soul. Thank you, Marmo!
