by Moshnikoff on 12/4/11Verizon Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

I thought that this set list was a lot better than a couple years ago when ya'll had AFI and 30 seconds to mars. I didnt stay for the full show but had a great time

holy snotballz, this was an awesome concert! If you haven't seen the joy formidable....go see them when you get the chance. Rise against and a day to remember were the highlight of this show though! It's been my dream to see both. Adtr, the crowd was brutallllll in the pit! RA was phenomenal in their performance. And the atmosphere was definitely the best concert I've been too. Cooler people than at other concerts ive been to. If you get the chance to see how the edge stole Xmas next year, GO my friend! A night you will not easily forget.

    Great Show!

by RealRonSwanson on 12/4/11Verizon Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

This was my first How the Edge Stole X-Mas so I wasn't sure what to expect. What a great show. Other than some technical issues at the beginning of The Joy Formidable set, everything worked great and the bands were outstanding. I loved A Day to Remember--it was like a concert fused with a party.

How the Edge Stole Christmas - Good Times

by justinfromtexas on 12/4/11Verizon Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

The venue is one of the best in DFW (Verizon formally Nokia). Lots of good bands. Rise Against is great live. Taking back sunday is the worst live band I have ever seen (vocals were horrible).

    Could have been better

by Cpz4480 on 12/4/11Verizon Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

Rise Against was good, as was AWALNATION, a day to remember was a joke. Think of them as boy band meets heavy metal, synchronized headbanging and highkicks. The joy formidable was good but taking back sunday was just ok. The venue is really nice, no waiting for food and drinks or the bathrooms. Would have been nice if we got a guest appearance from one of the bands with rise against at the end. Should be expected from such a big and touted show. Also, we sat in the SW deck, front row upper level, and the vocals sucked all night long.

A Day to Remember and Rise Against were AMAZING.

by Polarbearseatcereal on 12/3/11Verizon Theater - Grapevine

When A Day to Remember came onto stage everyone freaked out even myself. Rise Against was just amazing. When they sound live they really sound exactly how they are. They were exactly an excellent way to end the event. : )

    I love the Smashing Pumpkins......however....

by southernbelle333 on 12/10/10Verizon Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

I have been to several concerts at different locations. This was my first time at Verizon Theatre, and I have never had my ears ring and hurt for so long after a concert. It was so loud that I couldn't hear the singer's voices most of the time...I'm thinking the drums and guitars were louder than the singer's microphone. The volume was entirely too loud. I have only been to rock concerts and love loud music...but this was tooo loud! I was very disappointed because I've been waiting to see the Smashing Pumpkins for 12 years. Not sure if I would go back.
