About House of Blues Gospel Brunch

House of Blues Gospel Brunch Live

A high-spirited event that has become a treasured tradition in Las Vegas and nationwide, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch offers the best kind of nourishment for bodies and souls every Sunday. Visitors can enjoy traditional and contemporary songs by local gospel performers and national touring groups while digging into the House of Blues' signature all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet of Southern-inspired favorites.

This tradition of combining soul-stirring performances and great food began over two decades ago at the original House of Blues location in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Gospel Brunch soon became a well-loved staple in Las Vegas when the House of Blues opened its seventh location with a 600-seat restaurant and 1,800-capacity music hall at the Mandalay Bay Resort Casino in 1999.

Along with the iconic fried chicken and waffles, the Gospel Brunch menu regularly features such items as prime rib, cornbread, grits, jambalaya and a style-your-own omelette station. Even more exciting than what's on your plate is what's onstage. A 90-minute nondenominational musical celebration, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch is an exuberant experience that the whole family can experience.

House of Blues Gospel Brunch Background

A Sunday morning celebration like no other, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch has been a world-famous tradition for over two decades. It's easy to see why it's such a treasured part of the history of the House of Blues, which grew out of founder Isaac Tigrett's dream to introduce the world to the music, art and food of the rural south. Tigrett opened the House of Blues' first location in a converted, historic house in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1992. The Gospel Brunch soon became part of the House of Blues' reliable menu of great food and entertainment.

In 1999, the Gospel Brunch tradition came to Las Vegas when House of Blues opened a 600-seat restaurant and 1,800-capacity music hall in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Featuring a unique combination of all-you-can-eat buffet with Southern-inspired favorites and a family-friendly, nondenominational 90-minute show of contemporary and traditional songs performed by local gospel talents and national touring acts, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch became a favorite of visitors and locals.

In 2013, the House of Blues enlisted gospel superstar Kirk Franklin to reimagine the Gospel Brunch — with spectacular results. The House of Blues Gospel Brunch continues to be an unforgettable way to celebrate the day.

  • HOB Gospel Brunch

This event was so much more than I expected. It is truly a 5-star event. The food was awesome and there were so many choices! I really loved the coffee too! The host warms you up and makes you feel welcome but when the choir sang, the music filled my spirit and touched my heart. I had such a wonderful time and left wanting more. I will definitely go again and highly recommend it.

  • Great entertainment but food not good

by Minnie on 10/29/25House of Blues Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

Enjoyed the entertainment and location. The food wasn't good and was cold even though they brought out new trays of food, it was still cold. They ran out of fruit. This is a brunch so a word to wise, pls don't run out of fruit. Would be great to have an option of purchasing a ticket for the brunch and entertainment and entertainment only.

A fantastic brunch with even better soulful worship and singing. Every singer was amazing and joyful! You do not want to miss this.

  • Disappointed

by Visit on 10/9/25House of Blues Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 2 out of 5

First, the tables were too close together. Second, the food was not warm and the salad was soggy due to the dressing. Third, the food selection was not that good. Also, the venue charged $50.00 for parking after paying over $150.00 for the tickets. The entertainment was good but the rating is low due to the table set and quality of the food

  • Always get my praise on at the gospel brunch!

by V Mal on 8/2/25House of Blues Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

Love love the gospel brunch! Always take someone different with me when I attend and it never disappoints The experience is great. There could be a little more room between the tables set up. Also a choice when you purchase the ticket if you want to sit next to the person you came with or across. For me I’m standing most of the time getting my praise on but it still is a tight fit. Also turkey bacon or sausage would be a nice touch to choose from

  • Just What I Needed

by Joy on 7/23/25House of Blues Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

This show was just what I needed. I landed in Vegas on a Sunday and was missing church. The band and worship were absolutely amazing. The buffet brunch was awesome with a huge variety. The staff were great and I could not have asked for a better way to start my trip. I left full both spiritually and physically.

Heartfelt show but needs to be about 15 to 30 minutes longer.

  • TERRIBLE SEATS

by BBSugar on 6/12/25House of Blues Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 1 out of 5

From what I could HEAR of the show it was great, but we had tickets in seats 1,2 Table 10 and paid $76.31 per ticket. So we were literally BENEATH THE STAGE!!! IF WE WERE LUCKY AND THE PERFORMERS MOVED STAGE LEFT OR RIGHT WE CAUGHT A GLIMPSE OF THEM!!! BUT NOTHING BEYOND THAT!! MY POOR HUSBAND WAS LIVID!! At one point I got up and stood by the buffet to at least see what the rest of the people on stage actually looked like!!!! I need a redo!!
