by Snakes on 12/18/24Chevalier Theatre - MedfordRating: 2 out of 5As soon as we got to the front of the theater we were greeted by staff screaming at everyone to empty their pockets and told that we could not use our phones the entire show. I understand the idea of yelling though so they got better coverage spreading their message. When we got to our seats and sat down I realized we were in for a tough hang. We were seated in front of a row of edgelords who wanted everybody to know how cool and quirky they were. They were obnoxious the whole show. Talking loudly, snort laughing, and just genuinely distracting. Right before the movie started, a family came in with their teen sons one of which sat in front of me. From that point on for the entire film I watched the back of his head. I had to sit in so many different ways through out just to see around the kids head, and he really wasn’t that tall. I think the screen was too low, and the seats are not staggered enough in height, it really sucked. Other than those few things, it was a great show and MaCaulay was very charming. I really enjoyed the Q and A as well as the fact that he only let kids do the trivia. I think the adults doing trivia would have been insufferable.
