  • Fun

by Amy on 12/15/24The Santander Performing Arts Center - ReadingRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was nice, the showing was great, and the Q&A was fun. Very interactive. I would suggest more snacks options before the showing but otherwise is was a great time.

Beautiful old theater, congenial audience, fun sing-along, and wonderful classic Christmas movie. Great fun for our entire family!!

  • Spectacular Night

An all around awesome experience. From the theatre to “Big Bertha” and of course the movie itself just a great time.

  • Incredible experience

My two boys could not stop talking about it. Great performance! I can't wait to see it again.

  • Great Xmas outing

by Hernandodon on 11/29/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Loved watching the movie with a live orchestra. Looks like we have a new holiday tradition.

  • Home Alone

by Gindy on 11/28/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

It didn’t have enough music for the orchestra to play. That made it just the movie. You should bring in the Phantom of the Opera. I come for the orchestra and a good movie to go along with it.

  • Home Alone Live Kicks Off Holiday Season

    by GigiGirl77 on 11/28/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

This is one of our favorite Christmas movies so we were so happy to see that the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra was going to perform along with it. They sounded wonderful and it was a great way to start the holidays. Overall a great evening. The snack and concession line was a bit long and people almost missed the beginning of the show due the long lines. Maybe in the future add a second concession stand.

  • Atlanta Symphony/"Home Alone"

by Glad I Went on 11/28/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

If you ever get the chance to watch a movie while the ASO is playing the score to it, absolutely do it! We recently got to watch "Home Alone"at the ASO hall on a large screen suspended above the stage where the symphony was playing the music to the movie. It was fantastic! I will happily do it again!

  • Movie screen in the way

by Ed on 11/28/23Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

The symphony performance was excellent. My only disappointment is not being able to see the whole orchestra and none of the choir due to the movie screen. I’ve seen the movie before and paid to see the whole performance. If the screen was further back that would’ve been helpful.

  • A Classic! Movie and Christmas Tradition--

by Haley Carlyn on 12/19/22Alabama Theatre - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

We love our annual tradition of visiting Alabama Theater for the Christmas Movie Series. The energy is always festive and from the moment Big Bertha raises through the stage, to the Christmas carols, to the snacks (and wine) and people chiming in on their favorite parts of the movie, it really is the best way to get in the Christmas spirit.

by Tiff on 12/23/21Alabama Theatre - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

I always love attending any event at the Alabama Theater but during Christmas it is so special. The tree, the garland, the lights, and Oh, The Organ sounds so amazing!!!!!! Home Alone is my favorite Christmas movie and I loved getting to take my son and enjoying that experience with him.

  • Love the Alabama, need more parking!

by Karen on 12/15/21Alabama Theatre - BirminghamRating: 4 out of 5

We love the Christmas movie event at the Alabama Theatre. Parking in and around the theatre has become more of a challenge as more and more people come to the event. I wish the Theatre would recommend places to park, and have plenty of lighting for safety.

    by D on 12/18/19Alabama Theatre - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

Alabama Theatre is such a breathtaking venue for a very family friendly show. Extremely economical for any size family including my family of 10. It’s like stepping back in tie. Marvelously well preserved and immaculately clean.
