The Bowl is always a great experience. The night with Chaka Khan and Adele was also a winner. The music was relaxing and fun. The best part was Adele forgetting her own words. She was so funny and real in how she handled it. Everyone cheered her on and supported her. She has an amazing natural talent!

I really enjoyed the concert. I always love going to the Hollywood Bowl. I was a little disappointed about Etta James being unable to make the show, but it was still a wonderful show. This is the 3rd time seeing Adele and she has never let me down.
I totally enjoyed this concert. Adele was her usual, charming self. Spot on with the vocals and she looked lovely. Chaka Khan was amazing, but the mix was terrible. There needed to be more oomph in the bass, and it was just too top heavy (not good to showcase Chaka's vocals, which are very high treble). Janelle Monae -- over the top. I liked "Smile," but not much else. Wouldn't recommend her. What was the art/painting all about?
one of the best shows i've gone to. missed the janelle monae set but chaka more than made up for it. she was fantastic. adele was beyond great. she forgot some lyrics a couple times but no one cared. this was the second time i've seen her and she just keeps getting better
Adele was amazing! Even when she flubbed some lines- she's just fabulous! I wished she performed longer. I look forward to her coming out to Los Angeles again. Chaka Khan was great despite being a last minute fill-in for Etta James. Her sound was not as great - maybe because she was a last minute replacement. But her energy was awesome.
Adele sounded EXACTLY like she did on her amazing CD 19 but above all, she was a cooky welsh girl that called her Mom from the stage! LOVED the show. Chaka Khan filled in for Etta James superbly. What a show!
I really wish Etta James could have been there but Adele was unforgettable. She seems so real and her voice does not disappoint. However, I was disappointed at Hollywood Bowl's camera policy. I checked the Web site and called to make sure cameras weren't allowed and they confirmed that yes you could not bring any recording device. However, this was not enforced. I did not bring my camera yet everyone else could use theirs. So, I also don't understand why anyone should have an image they can upload to their reviews for the event?
