Amazing! This was a surprise date for my boyfriend who loves The Simpsons. He was really excited. He especially liked Spider Pig and the Monorail song.
The Simpsons-focused concert was very fun: donuts hung at the entrance, a Duff beer blimp, dancing hot dogs ... definitely not for the classically minded, but for those that have followed the series, a blast. My only criticisms: I couldn't decide whether to watch the cartoon excerpts or the fireworks, and having another number AFTER the fireworks was a bad idea as folks were stampeding out as the performance concluded.
Fireworks Finale: The Simpsons' 25th Anniversary was awesome. Non stop action from start to finish. Many awesome celebrities show up too. Loved it.
Most amazing show, priceless line-up, great integration of video clips and live action. And always love fireworks, though I was torn having to choose between the fireworks and video clips...such problems to have!!
The combination of guest stars, voice actors, orchestra, clips, and fireworks made this show unforgettable and demonstrated that even after 25 years, the Simpsons is still relevant and going strong.
This show was the best. First off any show at the hollywood bowl is gonna be a night to remember. The venue is great and being able to bring your own food and drink in is awesome. They have a ton of picnic space, but get there early. The actors, dancers, musicians of this performance had a lot of fun and were on point. I love when you can tell a performer loves what they are doing. If you are even slightly a fan of the Simpsons you would enjoy this.
Great event. As a fan of The Simpsons from episode 1 on, I had a great time. The only issue is I wish it could have been longer. They have such a rich musical history to draw from.
Fantastic show!!! Sadly missing Homer and Marge...
Show was fabulous! I didn't know what to expect and just thought it would be okay but it was way better than that. Hilarious, clever and amazingly fun.
It was great! An unforgettable night! I highly recommend future events.

Unforgettable event! I was honored and happy to be able to go with my family for my birthday weekend! Great Simpsons fan experience! The youngest fan, my 10 month old daughter, attended with us and also enjoyed her experience!
Nancy Cartwright, Hank Azaria, Yeardley Smith, Beverly D'Angelo, Jon Lovitz, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Conan O'Brien and so many more talented people made it an event to remember. Whether it was Nancy singing "Do the Bartman" or Hank and Yeardley's performances there was a great time to be had by all. If there is ever another Simpson's event at the Hollywood Bowl I will be there.
This event didn't match the usual high Bowl caliber seen throughout the summer. Yes, it was different and its good to see "Outside the Box" events but not for the summer finale. The bowl is about the orchestra and it was so overlooked at this event. There was also too much going on at the same time-orchestra playing, Simpsons on the screen and fireworks! It presented as being very disjointed. Sad way to finish the season. Let's hope for better next year.
This event was amazing. My family all agreed that it was even better than expected (and we had high hopes, being such huge Simpsons fans). We loved how themed it was, with little details scattered throughout the Bowl. We would love to see another Simpsons Takes On The Hollywood Bowl next year!
This event was more than I event expected. Wonderful. Spectacular. Highly recommend.
I frequent the Bowl about 6 times during the season and by far the Simpson's event was on the top of the list. My son (17) had a blast, I was ready to sit back and enjoy the firework show, but I laughed and had a great time! The firework show was amazing and the lighting throughout the show was great. I'm so glad we didn't miss this event!
Where else can you see the cast behind the Simpsons?
Though we had the cheap seats in the back, the animated projections on the bowl itself, along with the several large screens, made for a great experience! Unfortunately, key players from the show weren't there, but those that did appear were fantastic! And special guests like Weird Al, Hans Zimmer, and Conan O'Brien were super entertaining!
