Great Game. Nice venue. Only issue was the bag policy. If clear bags are good enough for NFL and NBA, they should be allowed at a game like this. Hundreds forfeited nice bags that all other venues allow. We learned they were also trashed with no recovery option.
Expensive but filled with great entertainment, sky show was fantastic too
Great event for the city, I would like to see higher ranked teams playing this Bowl.
The Holiday Bowl at Petco has now become my son’s and my new holiday tradition. The venue is perfect and the city is wonderful! A great place to watch great football no matter the teams!
I am glad I could just drive to the ga, me as it was not what it could have been if the players all chose to play. Louisville was missing most of their secondary and they got torched. They were also missing their top rusher and receiver. In the end USC's scrubs were better than Louisville's scrubs. I won't be going to another bowl game until the players start to show up.
First time to go to a bowl game and I was not disappointed. From the time we got to the stadium to the end of the night we had a BLAST. We will definately return next year and every year after. BEST FIREWORKS WE HAVE EVER SEEN
Atmosphere was great along with the game. Been going to the game over the last 30 years and it doesn’t ever disappoint.
I bought tickets to the Holiday Bowl well before I knew who would be playing the game. I wanted to experience the Holiday Bowl and take my girlfriend. We had a blast and will definitely do it again in the future. Might become a new tradition for us. Looking forward to next year.
The game was great and the field view appeared to be excellent from all parts of the park. The field layout was very well done despite the fact that Petco is a baseball stadium. Entry and exit were very smooth and there were no delays. Unfortunately the concessions were another matter. Most concession stands ran out of food by halftime and those that didn’t had very limited selections. I was able to find one that still had hot dogs available but there were no condiments for them. This reflects very poor planning since the attendance was nowhere near a sellout. I would definitely go to another Holiday Bowl game if I could be assured that these deficiencies were addressed.
The KGB Skyshow was always AWESOME at Quallcom. Petco was phenomenal too!. Did not disappoint, no bad seats!
The game was great, it’s Miller Moss’ time! Caleb Williams was great, but it was time for a change.
Terrible! Absolutely terrible!! I bought the tickets thinking I got great seats close to the action. When I got the ticket’s delivered to my app the tickets said “obstructed view” well, what the heck?! It didn’t say that when or before I bought them. When we got to our seats they were at field level, which would have been awesome if it was a baseball game, but this was a football game and all the players stand along the sidelines and block the view. We saw absolutely nothing! We had to watch it all on the damn jumbo screen. This was an absolutely disgusting experience. We could have just stayed home and watched it on tv and got a better view. Next time I’ll use a different vendor to buy my tickets. Shameful Ticketmaster!!
The weather was perfect, the staff was helpful, a nice place to sit outside and watch a very good football game. I was worried that a football game in a baseball stadium would be bad views but it worked out very well.
Everything was great, but I believe the food and drink service to your seat should be available as it was during last year's Holiday Bowl.
Worst Sky Show ever in 40 years i have gone. Everything else was great.
Skyshow sucked. Can't expect the Sky Shows to be as good the the first couple i went to, #7 and 8 back in the day when there were concerts before, but not being at the Murph or Qualcomm it sucked, ive set off more fireworks in my backyard before.
I had two friends from UK join me for the game since it was their first time seeing a college football game and a bowl game at that! Now after telling them they are going to see a highly offensive game and a INFAMOUS Sky Show, the teams decided to play more of a running game until the fourth quarter which ended in a very exciting finish. After waiting for over a half hour for the Sky Show to start, it was was a huge disappointment. It was introduced as Sky Show 2.0, but it had no lasers or light show as promised, just the usual fireworks of previous Sky Show’s but on a smaller scale. I felt they could have emptied the field a little more quickly to get the show started. I apologized to my guests for the let down, but they kindly understood. The pregame and halftime shows were GREAT.
Had a wonderful day. Started by riding the Green Line to downtown. Then a walk up the Gaslamp District before picking out a restaurant for lunch. We got to the park at 3 and had a great time visiting the booths and getting free merchandise. The game was great and the stadium was a great place to watch from. Loved it all.
Great game! Fun fans around us! Good seats even if up high. Great energy and game show entertainment. Fabulous sky show. Well worth the ticket prices!
Having the Holiday at Petco is great as a temporary fix. And its always a great party downtown! But for the game itself I hope it returns to the new Snapdragon Stadium next year. And the KGB 101 Sky Show 2.0 was pretty much a bust. For several minutes the music was blasting but not the fireworks.
