The show was a gas. Everyone there was rocking and the groups were outstanding. Age hasn't seemed to slow any of the groups. War was amazing; Rare Earth was outta sight; Jack was, well, Jack; Rare Earth was as good as I have heard live in a long time and I am now a fan of Bad Finger. Can't wait for next year. Even more hippie garb will be worn next year.
This is the third time I've seen HippieFest and I mostly enjoyed it. War was tight and sounded great just like back in the day I'm sure. It was good to see a legand like Jack bruce, he still has it. Rare Earth could hold a show of thier own. The one sad point was Bad Finger. Same four songs and same George Harrison story. Ho Hum. Dont rush to get to the concert first. Skip Bad Finger and tailgate ih the parking lot a little longer. Less lame groups and longer sets. PEACE. AND LOVE.
All the bands were fabulous!! WAR was AMAZING!!!! Awesome event yesterday evening... great and interesting crowd ..sometimes I forgot to watch the bands there was such wonderful people watching to observe - WOW!!!
