Legendary Former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle is all about the music. When he put together "The Artimus Pyle Band", Artimus wanted the band to be "a proper representation of the true Skynyrd spirit", one that would do justice to those incredible songs that Ronnie Van Zant wrote and sang with such conviction. The truth is- APB has done just that. With impeccable timing, soaring guitars, and gut wrenching vocals- The Artimus Pyle Band is a true and proper tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd, the band that has been the soundtrack to so many lives. Artimus represents an important part of the incredible rollercoaster history of America's greatest band, playing drums during their pinnacle years of 1974-1977 and then again for the Tribute tour of 1991. APB is sure to be the highlight of any event, performing their all Skynyrd show with maximum impact.
I have not seen Artimus Pyle/Lynyrd Skynyrd in over 40 years. When I reviewed some of the UTube songs they were performing, I decided to go. To be quite honest I'm glad I did. It took me back in time. The band covered so many songs and sounded so good, I couldn't believe it. So, if you have a chance to see them, make it a MUST to go.
Really enjoyed seeing the Artimus Pyle Band at this beautiful venue! The music was outstanding; the venue was very attractive, clean and comfortable; personnel were very helpful. Many thanks for an outstanding evening of top-notch entertainment! Loved Four Winds Casino and can't wait to return. Here's hoping APB will be back again very soon!

Awesome - I could watch them every day for the rest of my life, they are just that good. I pray for health and wellbeing for all the band members and keep caring on the Lynyrd Skynyrd music.
Everything about the concert was great from start to end
We really had a good time watching this group and learning of the history from the drummer and the others. The venue was very nice and it was really entertaining. Blast from the past from the late 70s, what we remember from high school.
Artimus Pyle Band put on a great concert!! We enjoyed the concert immensely!! Afterwards the gentlemen done a meet and greet with all of the fans which was a great time!! I had bought merchandise which they willingly autographed!! We will definitely go to another one of their concerts!!
My better half had never been to EPC.... She Knows my Skynyrd addiction! Having not seen them since 1987 in STL... i was somewhat reserved. BUT, IT ROCKED! APB did not disappoint!!!!!
This was our first visit to the Effingham Performance Center and we were extremely happy with the facility. The venue was clean and attractive. The seating was the most comfortable of any venue I've been to. The Artimus Pyle Band was outstanding. We've seen them before and I can attest to them always putting on a fun show and playing some awesome music. Each of them is a fine musician and the songs they play are among my very favorites. The no-extra-charge meet and greet after the show is always appreciated. The guys are super friendly and Artimus is happy to talk to you and let you get a picture with him. He's very kind and funny. I will go see them anytime they are nearby. If you love the music of Lynyrd Skynrd played by people who really love the music and play it right, this is the band to go see.
APB is the BEST band, Ronnie would be SO PROUD, Enjoyed every minute of it, they are all so personable, and all round great bunch of guys, who do RVZs Lynyrd Skynyrd PROUD. They NEVER disappoint!
