Hasan Minhaj is a two-time Peabody Award-Winning comedian best known for his breakout Netflix special HOMECOMING KING and his critically acclaimed, political satire show PATRIOT ACT WITH HASAN MINHAJ for Netflix which won a Peabody, an Emmy, and a Television Academy Honor. His second one-hour comedy special THE KING'S JESTER premiered on Netflix in 2022. In October 2024, Hasan released his third comedy special on Netflix, titled OFF WITH HIS HEAD. On Hasan's ongoing digital series and podcast, HASAN MINHAJ DOESN'T KNOW, he sits down with the biggest names in politics, culture, and tech with questions that are as thought provoking as they are absurd. In the debut episode, Hasan spoke with Senator Elizabeth Warren, and he's also welcomed John M. Chu, JJ Redick, Bernie Sanders, and Stacey Abrams, among many others.
He will next star in Disney's TRON: ARES that will be released theatrically in October 2025. Hasan is the co-founder and chief executive officer of 186K Films, which is currently in development on their first feature film. He is co-writing the script with Prashanth Venkataramanujam and will star in the film. Hasan was most recently seen in Sony's blockbuster film, IT ENDS WITH US as well as in NEON's comedy BABES, directed by Pamela Adlon, with Ilana Glazer and Michelle Buteau. He was a senior correspondent at Comedy Central's THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART and headlined the 2017 WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' DINNER.
Felt like i was on Patriot act! Fantastically produced and Hasan is so funny. The only thing is the show started 1 hour late, so transportation getting home was brought (the show ended at 1 am...). He did have back to back shows though.
Very energetic and hilarious performance by Hassan Minhas. We had a blast!
Event started an hour late and Ofcourse, ran late. Event was supposed to start at 10pm, they starting seating and the starting artist didn’t come until 11:15.
Hasan Minhaj's performance was excellent. Funny, poignant, and razor sharp. The only downer was that the show started over an hour late due to the first performance getting out so late.
Hasan put on a great show with a ton of heart and passion. The laughs were non stop as he spoke about his family, career, & life during the pandemic. I would highly recommend to anyone who has or has not seen him perform before, he is a class act and brings alot of positive energy to keep you engaged. His opening act, Matteo Lane was also hilarious and was a great way to start the show.
This was hands down the best comedy show I've seen and I go to a lot. The balance of comedy and sincerity was perfect. Expect a little political commentary mixed in but that's not the bulk of the material. I will absolutely not miss one of his shows in the future!
Hi, we went to the show on Friday night (Oct. 8) at 10:00 pm. When we were at the venue gate around 9:45 pm, we were told that the venue wasn't open yet. The line was miles long which was understandable. We were finally in the theater around 11:30 pm and got in another line for locking the phones. Finally when we were inside, it seemed like the show had already started. When we asked the theater personnel when it started, she told us "a while back". Now we paid for the tickets and it was a contract that we would be able to watch the full show. It was not our fault that the event was so mismanaged. The gate was not open at 9:45 pm for a show that was supposed to start at 10 pm. There were thousands of people. And after finally getting in, we were not able to enjoy the full show without a fault of our own. I have been to many shows including Jon Stewart, Dave Chappelle, Gabriel Iglesias, but this was the most poorly managed show I have ever been to. We didn't feel like we got our tickets worth of performance. Hasan Minhaj was great and we deserved to watch the full show.
Mostly great show. Super bummed how he disrespected DO's (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine). "Functional Medicine" doctors are quacks. DO's are legitimate MD's and deserve the respect and recognition.
This man is literally the funniest comedian out right now. He’s jarringly honest, a master of switching between satire and sincerity, and has a fire shoe game. 12 out of 10. Retweet that.
I have not laughed this much at a comedy show EVER. So engaging and a great piece. Would highly recommend and would go again! DEFINITELY GO!
I've always been a fan of Hasan Minhaj and this show did not disappoint. He was a class act and it was money well spent. My only gripe would be about the opening acts. I understand that these comedians were up-and-comers but man, what duds! I must've been amongst the few straining to listen because there were audible conversations going on all around me. No on paid attention to these guys. No worries though because my man Hasan saved the day!
Went in expecting some light personal and political humor, but Hasan Minhaj has taken this one to a whole another level. It was deeply personal, reflective, scary, hilarious and thought provoking all at the same time.
Overall we had a great time. The beginning of the night was a bit rough as the lines to get in were crazy long! The 10pm show didn’t start till after 10:45pm. The 2 initial comics were ok. Comic, Megan was good but the other guy wasn’t very funny. Hasan Minaj came on and killed it. He was hilarious, relatable and was on stage for well over an hour.
This guy is a genius. And he's daring with his takes. And super funny. Loved it.
Hasan Minhaj’s show was amazing but even though were in line by 9:45pm for a 10pm show with tickets printed, we weren’t seated until after 11pm and missed both opening acts due to inefficiency in letting people patiently waiting in line in. We missed seeing the 2 openers, including Hannibal Buress, as a result! The line was poorly organized with no staff coming around to communicate what the holdup was.
Entertaining and funny! The theater was packed. I wish the mask enforcement was better. Did not verify vaccination status which would’ve been good.
First show to attend in person ina couple of years. Hasan was beyond funny. I would highly recommend.
He delivered a well put together show with depth and lightness. Had a great time. The preacts though??
The show was a wonderful balance of humor and endearing experiences. As always Hasan was able to tap into his roots with anecdotal stories that seamlessly blended itself out into iconic jokes and satirical scenarios. Wish I could see it all over again!
Hasan’s show was great! I have seen most big name comedians and thought he was one of the most if not the most prepared I’ve seen. Super funny. Totally recommend he show. Made me realize how sad I am that Netflix canceled Patriot Act.
