Great great show! Sincere stories with a whole lot of comedy! I would go again and again!

What a great show! Loved every minute! Hasan Minhaj is such a comedic genius. Such a genuine real person! Laughed almost all night (only stopped laughing when he was sharing intimate parts of his life). I loved how he incorporates his life into comedy. I also thought it was a fabulous idea to make this a cellphone free show! Great experience from beginning to end!

Minaj was great. The line and process to enter the Theater was ridiculous. Total failure. 2 hours to enter. Got in at 11:15 for a showtime of 10 pm. If it had thunderstormed as predicted it would have been an even bigger disaster. No directions, no staff, no signage - you just got in a line and hoped for the best.

The opening shows were ok! But Hasan killed it! Non stop laughter, so many emotions, genuine to the core! Surpassed all expectations!!!

We arrived at the venue by 9:30 in preparation for our 10 pm show. We waited in line until 10:45 and there was still no movement in the line that was wrapped around a full city block. It was unrealistic for us to wait any longer. We checked all social media outlets looking for an update, called ticket master and the venue directly hoping for answers, but no avail. We ended up leaving because the show should have been halfway over and people weren’t even getting in yet.

Hasan deliver provocative insights and clever humor. he made the night worth the long line, after suffering two comedians who tried their best…well, not sure if one really tried.

The was supposed to start at 10. People in our party did not get in to the building until 11:15. There was no organization outside at all.

What a great comedian - a perfect combination of satire and sincerity.

This was the best show I’ve ever been to. Hands down. I am in love with you Hasan Minhaj.

Very much enjoyed the show and Hasan did a wonderful job. Overall the theater was extremely disorganized, with ushers who guided us to incorrect seats and areas three times. The COVID protocol was horrible and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Maybe we’re not wearing a mask during the show. I will not be attending another show at the Chicago Theater until the protocol has been improved.

This show was fantastic, I haven't laughed this hard in years! It's so good for the soul. Hasan was wonderful, unexpected laughs mixed in with quiet profound moments. It was better than expected and worth the 2 hour drive to Grand Rapids. Highly recommended and would watch again!

Would have been nice to know that no bags over a certain size would be allowed inside. Otherwise it was good.

Hasan did a phenomenal job! The show was fantastic. He was engaging and truly hilarious. The communication from Ticketmaster was disappointing to say the least. When we arrived we found out NO bags of any size were allowed (including handbags). So we were late as we had to walk my bag back to the car. And email ahead of time would have been great to explain that (other shows I’ve been to have done that and it’s easy when you know and can plan on pockets!). Also, it was a cell phone free show — they locked phones in cases at arrival (you kept with you, but couldn’t actually open it). So that 1) held things up considerably coming and going 2) felt VERY unsanitary given the times and 3) it was a completely mobile check-in (in fact I did get an email saying they wouldn’t even take a printed ticket, it had to be mobile). SO because we couldn’t have phones, we also had to wait in line to get a sticky note with our seat number as our phones would be locked up and hard to check to find your seat. Such bad planning. Again, so many more contact points during times when that shouldn’t be a thing. Overall, I was just super disappointed in the lack of communication and planning around all of this. It felt chaotic and stressful and put a damper on the evening for sure. Imagine how much funnier Hasan would have been had we not all gone through that to get in??

I've been a fan of Hasan since his days on the Daily Show and his stand-up show did not disappoint! I haven't laughed that hard in awhile and I can't wait for him to come back to Detroit in the future!
