Hasan Minhaj is a two-time Peabody Award-Winning comedian best known for his breakout Netflix special HOMECOMING KING and his critically acclaimed, political satire show PATRIOT ACT WITH HASAN MINHAJ for Netflix which won a Peabody, an Emmy, and a Television Academy Honor. His second one-hour comedy special THE KING'S JESTER premiered on Netflix in 2022. In October 2024, Hasan released his third comedy special on Netflix, titled OFF WITH HIS HEAD. On Hasan's ongoing digital series and podcast, HASAN MINHAJ DOESN'T KNOW, he sits down with the biggest names in politics, culture, and tech with questions that are as thought provoking as they are absurd. In the debut episode, Hasan spoke with Senator Elizabeth Warren, and he's also welcomed John M. Chu, JJ Redick, Bernie Sanders, and Stacey Abrams, among many others.
He will next star in Disney's TRON: ARES that will be released theatrically in October 2025. Hasan is the co-founder and chief executive officer of 186K Films, which is currently in development on their first feature film. He is co-writing the script with Prashanth Venkataramanujam and will star in the film. Hasan was most recently seen in Sony's blockbuster film, IT ENDS WITH US as well as in NEON's comedy BABES, directed by Pamela Adlon, with Ilana Glazer and Michelle Buteau. He was a senior correspondent at Comedy Central's THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART and headlined the 2017 WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' DINNER.
Hasan was amazing as usaual!! His show was funny, emotional, and full of energy. Definitely can't wait until he returns on tour again!
Getting into the parking lot, parking and then leaving the venue was the worst experience. $15 credit card only parking was not listed on website. The venue has been open since 2017, you would think after all those years they would have the transportation and parking down…this was laughable. Attendants were not directing traffic. Numerous bottle necks. Hasan was amazing. Took us over a hour to get out of the parking lot following the show. No way the 2nd show at 10:30pm was starting on time.
The parking was insanely disorganized, and the cell phone pouch was ridiculous.
The Smart Financial Center in Sugarland is one of the worst venues I've ever been to. We spent 30 minutes trying to find the right parking entrance after being turned away from 2 different entrances that are normally open. We had no notice that these entrances would be closed. We got to the 3rd entrance after 30 minutes, then waited in line 45 minutes to park the car. The line was long, moved slowly and there was only the one entrance for hundreds of cars. Fortunately we arrived an hour early and the show started late enough that we didn't miss anything. The concessions were sparse- just drinks and chips. Definitely eat before you go or plan to eat after. The show was fine but not as funny as the first we saw him a few years ago. Maybe it was the topics- his wife, kids and family life- don't lend to as many laughs. This show was still thoughtful and touching like Homecoming King. I'm an India-American a little older than Hasan so I appreciate he talks and jokes about topics than I can really relate to. I would attend another Hasan Minhaj show but not at the Smart Financial Center.
Hasan was a master act. I laughed until my face hurt. But the organisation of the event was really poor. The entrance was across the ticket stands with no clear direction so people had no idea where to go. In COVID times we were all jampacked together waiting to go inside for a long period of time. They needed more people guiding the audience as well as better signs and barriers.
Extraordinary performance and standup but the show started much later than advertised. Well organized.
The parking situation was a disaster, made so much worse by the fact that the show started more than an hour late. The guests at the second show were trying to get into the lot while the guests from the first show were trying to leave. Disaster! But the show was great.
Great way to spend a night, mature material for adults.
Logistics of the venue forced the shows to start late on a Friday when people probably went to work that morning.
Hasan was great once we got it. It took 45 min from the exit to get to our seats. It’s in the suburbs, not downtown. One entrance for parking and huge backlog of cars. Unacceptable.

The show was great, although a very late start. The concession had no real food. The parking, coming and going, was a nightmare.
The show was dragging. I felt I was hearing a man go on and on about how well he offends people. Very little offered in he way of comic relief. Not sure why the phones had to be bagged and locked. Comedy was not worth recording. The show started ridiculously late. Unacceptable!!
really enjoyed the show! This is the 3rd show at Smart Financial center. Getting into the building and leaving the parking lot have been a nightmare every time. I tell myself i will never go back, but you have great shows!
The smart financial center parking experience took so long the show was delayed about 1 1/2 hours. Hassan Minhaj gave the crowd an excellent performance
I enjoyed all of the artists ,but the show beginning 40 minutes after the published time does not seem considerate for the people who arrived on time and had to wait.
Other than the traffic that leads to parking, everything went smoothly. The show was hilarious. Opening comics were superb!
Wish there was more personnel helping delegate the cars for more smoother parking. It was really difficult to enter and exit the venue. Recommend coming an he early and leave an hr time to exit.
I absolutely loved seeing Hasan’s performance. Material was great and he wasn’t afraid to get personal. This was the show in Houston and he surprised the audience with Mo Amer as a last minute opener!!
The stories, the satire, the lessons and the way the stories connect and interweave made this an epic experience. Well done Hasan.
