This show has some of the most amazing effects plus all of the actors are a pleasure to watch. I had read the play script a while ago, so I did know some key elements of the story. Others in my party had not read the script and they enjoyed it even more.
This two part play is amazing! The cast does a phenomenal job bringing the script to life. The magic put into every little detail shines through to make this an amazing production!!!
The show has an excellent cast and the stage transformations were fantastic. Everything a Harry Potter fan would love! Would definitely see it again!
I was so excited to be back where it all started. The set, cast, music were phenomenal. Our seats said partial view but I can honestly say we saw everything. Such an amazing day and performance.

Loved both parts of the Cursed Child! Great story and music! Although it’s a commitment to see both parts in one day I’m glad we did. Casting is spot on! Story is true to the original books. Must see if you love Harry Potter.

We are Harry Potter fans and were not really sure how a play could compete with the awesomeness of the movies ! It was amazing. The set design, costumes, acting and special effects were beyond our expectations. The casting of Hermoine Granger was discussed by some with concern because most all the other characters were cast to look like the book (and movie) characters. I thought they captured the true confident, arrogant yet humble essense of Hermoine. It is theater after all !!!
We sat in the dress circle and the magic was incredible. The cast was simply outstanding and we enjoyed every moment. The show offered so much my mind was racing with all the excitement. I brought my 22 year old daughter and my 14 year old daughter and we were on the edge of our seats. This is a must see for every Harry Potter fan!
The show was amazing. This was my second time going and I’d recommend it to all my friends, even if they aren’t familiar with the book. Will be going again soon!!
We were so enthralled with the production when we saw it last year that these midwesterners made a dedicated trip east again to catch it a second time. Got back to our hotel and began debating how we could plan a third trip. The music is sublime, the staging and costumes will take your breath away, and the cast (and we've seen two) is perfect. Can't say enough about it. Wish we could catch it in Chicago. We would bring our whole family!
I’m a fan who read the script ahead of time. I throughly enjoyed the theater experience. The staging is impressive, and there is just something magical about seeing the characters brought to life. (We saw the show all in one day. I recommend this if you can.)

It was definitely worth my time! Amazing show with great performances. My daughter and cousin came with me and we couldn’t stop talking about it afterwards. The storyline was great and the surprises along the way kept us intrigued.
This was an amazing experience! I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I absolutely love the way this production brings the story to life. The stage effects pull you into the story and keep the magic going! Definite must see!!
The wow factor is there, 100%...if you are a Harry Potter fan, it's a must see, for sure...the tricks, magic, production value, sets, costumes, all very wizardly and certainly worth the price of admission. The characters are great and the acting is superb, for sure. Yes, the, "however" part: LONG. Common trend in comments, yes...we did the Wednesday afternoon/evening showing, grabbing dinner at STK Midtown in between (highly recommend, btw) and it was SOO LONG. The narrative - at times - seemed very over dramatic or soap opera-esk type of dragging on of some plot lines...going in having experienced Universal's Harry Potter World in Orlando, knowing the trickery, action, dragons, spells, etc, I expected more in that regard. Again - self proclaimed muggle, who happily brought wife for her birthday who LOVED IT but also agreed, some of it was a little dry and made it a bit too long...."I could watch any of the movies for hours on end...this play, not so much."

My husband and I had a GREAT time - this was his first Broadway show. From the theatre, to the actors, to the chocolate frogs at the concession -- everything was perfect.
Definitely worth it. It was a great show. The effects, sound, the actors, all of it!
