Not worth what I paid for sure. I paid to watch and listen to Hank but he was only out for about an hour or less Instead Whiskey Myers played for 2 hours and not thrilled with them should have put that out there to begin with and I would not have paid over $400 for that.

It was a great show! Just expected Hank to come back out for a couple more songs, as his show was only an hour long!

I loved the concert I thought that Hank Jr was awesome he is my husband's favorite singer he listens to him every weekend on his ok Google it made us cry when he started to sing this the second time we seen him first time was lawn seats at the amp this one was a lot better thank you

  • He’s still got it

by Cheri24iv on 8/27/24Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview - SyracuseRating: 5 out of 5

Arrived around 5:45. We found prime seating on the lawn. Plenty of vendors selling cold drinks and food. The indoor restrooms were very clean and supplied. Didn’t use the porta potties. Ray Fulcher was very good. I had never heard of him before. Whiskey Myers was awesome! I had never seen them before. Hank Williams Jr., Bocephus was AWESOME!! I was pleasantly surprised that his voice sounded like it did 10 years + ago!! FAMILY TRADITION was definitely the hit of the show! We waited until 99% of the people left before we packed up our chairs and headed to our car. The parking lot traffic moved along at a reasonable pace.

  • Best concert ever

Parking was my only complaint. I have a handicap tag. The location had the lot filled up with people for the fair. I told officer blocking road I had tag he said go to fair parking. Then you had to wait in huge line for bus or walk mile and half. Hank was amazing. Huge crowd.

  • Parking

by Karen on 8/27/24Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview - SyracuseRating: 3 out of 5

I called Omcenter to ask about parking during the fair i told him I have preferred parking and I wanted to park up in the preferred parking for the day since I paid for it I was told yes I could park up there but no I could not I had to go back up and move my car why can’t we park there for the day it’s $60 only during the fair it was inconvenient to have to go back out and move it. The young kids tried to get me to pay for parking again I showed them my ticket they looked at me like I was from another planet.

  • Hank is great. Drink prices outrageous.

Hank delivers a great show. Go see him..enjoy his music and his dad's and covers with style. All good! Strenuously avoid Live Nation venues. A whiskey and beer was $47! This is why I hardly go to shows anymore.

  • Hank concert

by DV on 8/26/24Broadview Stage at SPAC - Saratoga SpringsRating: 1 out of 5

We sat in the balcony and the sound system was terrible couldn't understand a single word they sang. Even the first two acts. I have sat in the balcony before and it sounded great. But not at this concert. I was very disappointed!

  • Could not hear any distinct words.

by Sue on 8/26/24Broadview Stage at SPAC - Saratoga SpringsRating: 2 out of 5

We got tickets for the balcony for Hank Williams Jr and Whiskey Myers. We noticed it during Whiskey Myers that we could not understand what he was saying and the music was distorted. We thought that it would get better when Hank Williams Jr came on but it did not. The lighting blared in our eyes during the second song of Hank Williams Jr. I've been to many concerts at SPAC in the past and this was by far the least impressive due to the unintelligible sound. I hate to sound negative on this but it definitely deserved a 2.

  • Good

by RED on 8/26/24Broadview Stage at SPAC - Saratoga SpringsRating: 4 out of 5

The best part was when Hank Williams, Jr. sang alone. It was so much nicer to have Hank Williams, Jr., sing without the band drowning him out.

  • Fantastic show!!!

Whiskey Myers — so good - much like Skynard !!! Hank has still got it! Great show!!

  • Whiskey Myers concert

I will forever refer to this as the Whiskey Myers concert. They were awesome. Great energy, great sound. Hank has seen better days.

  • OMG the sound

by kittiemeow on 8/26/24Broadview Stage at SPAC - Saratoga SpringsRating: 2 out of 5

I am a music head and I know more than most about sound engineering. The sound engineering at this show was one of the worst I ever experienced. All the speech and lyrics were muffled and incomprehensible. Even the semi acoustic set was intelligible. I have waited for years to see Hank Williams and the sound was so disappointing it ruined the experience.

  • One Of A Kind!

Wow! Had a great time at Saratoga Springs seeing Hank Williams Jr and Whiskey Myers. A beautiful venue hearing some of the bests of all times! I would highly recommend. The view was insanely close for lawn compared to other venues I have been to. Hank still has an incredible voice and hope to see him again!
