  • Amazing!

by Cristal Varner on 8/19/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 5 out of 5

We saw Hank Williams Jr, with The Marshall Tucker Band, about 25 years ago and this show was even better. I love the band but loved that he took a moment to sit and play his guitar and just talk to the people. It was an intimate moment that made it very special and personable. His opening acts were also very good. The Old Crow Medicine Show, and Colton Bowlin made new fans The entire show brought lots of hot Summer, rockin' country entertainment.

Hank Williams Jr is a very high beat concert! He still has it for his age!

  • Was an awesome experience!

by Christy on 8/19/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time to Thunder Ridge and I had an absolute blast! I took 4 of my close friends. I will definitely be attending more concerts when I can afford to!

  • Hank Williams JR event at Thunder Ridge

by BJU on 8/19/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 4 out of 5

Everything went well. However, I have suggestions for the camera crew: Show ALL the performers - don't focus just on the drummer. Use more wide-angle shots. We missed a lot of action from other band members because the cameras were so focused on the drummer. Also keep the camera on at all times - even with the crew setting up. Again, we missed a lot of action because the cameras weren't on. Also, lower the merchandise prices. Good grief... The prices were RIDICULOUS. Do you want to sell one item at an outrageous price or many items at a lower price? This pertains to chair rentals. I know a profit is the main object but outrageous prices are seen as gouging and ridiculous.

  • VIP experience was a gimmick!

by Clark on 8/19/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 1 out of 5

I had 2 VIP tickets and the staff at Thunder Ridge had no clue where to send us to get our VIP merch and side stage access, which were the main reasons I paid for VIP. Instead, they kept sending us to place after place all around the venue in the miserable 100 degree heat, all to accomplish nothing but waste my time. The seating was great and the artists couldn’t have been better. I wish I could say the same for the venue and staff. If I would have known I wasn’t going to get what I specifically paid for, I would have saved myself over $1K and just bought general admission tickets. I have been to this venue numerous times in the past and it was great but this was my first VIP experience at any venue and I definitely won’t be doing it again.

This venue is fantastic! Definitely recommend upgraded parking though. This is by far the best Hank concert I've been to. I 100% will see him every year for as long as he is touring!

  • Great show, lots of energy, you can't slow him down!

by John From Texas on 7/28/25Atrium Health Amphitheater - MaconRating: 5 out of 5

The Hank Williams Jr. and Mark Chesnutt show in Macon, GA was more than just a concert—it was a night full of unforgettable memories and the kind of music that marks the chapters of your life. Hearing both legends perform songs that have helped me transition through different seasons of life brought back a flood of emotions. Mark Chesnutt, who I’ve seen at least ten times over the years, was as strong and genuine as ever. His voice took me back to the days when I helped build a stage for I'll Think of Something, which was filmed at Stephen F. Austin State University. Hank Williams Jr., who I’ve also seen a few times, delivered what I think was his best performance yet—full of energy, passion, and that signature outlaw flair. It was worth taking the trip from Texas to see the show. It was the kind of night that sticks with you, long after the lights go down and the crowd fades out.

  • Awesome show in Macon

Hank was really good, and played a lot of his past hits! It was fun to get to finally see him, in his home state of Alabama. Had always wanted to see him, and he did deliver! Hank proved a Country Boy Can Survive, in a Family Tradition!
