  • HAND WILLIAMS JR

by KIMMIEKEK on 7/13/09Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 1 out of 5

we waited for years foe him to come to our area and I have to tell you we were very disapointed with the show. I was so loud that you could not hear him and he never came out for an encore...There was 4 of us and we always listen to his music when we get done hunting or when we are on the boat fishing and we all felt the same way

  • Hank Williams Jr. is a great American.

by shead on 7/13/09Rupp Arena - LexingtonRating: 4 out of 5

The show was phenomenal, even in the rain. I did not realize how talented a musician Hank Jr. was, incredible on guitar, piano, and violin. We went all in for the ViP tix and the only disappointment was we expected the T shirt portion of the deal to be a little higher quality and at least note the performers or event. RIPoff, just a cheap t with the radio station on it. We loved the music, but felt the package needs a little work. Not complaining, just explaining.... which would help in the decision department if the ticket vendors did the same... explain EXACTLY what you get for your hundred a head.

  • Hank Rocks!!!!

    by Moose2009 on 7/8/09Rupp Arena - LexingtonRating: 3 out of 5

The event was okay. We went to see Hank, the other acts were not very good. The stage should set at the other end of the lot with reserved seating under the bridge.

  • Hank Jr. was great!!!

by trouble on 7/8/09Rupp Arena - LexingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Hank Jr. was great! That was the first outdoor concert I have been to and I loved it (except the rain). The only thing I didn't like about the show was that Halfway to Hazard was last. The set up was wrong because Hank Jr. was the big event for the show so he should have played last for as along as he wanted to play and not been rushed off the stage for the firework show. We thought the show was over after the fireworks and started to leave until we heard the anouncement to standby for Halfway to Hazard. The firework show was awesome! If they have another another show next year I will certainly go.

  • Hank was awesome

Oh my gosh..... it might have been raining at Red White and Boom , but the show was awesome! We had really good seats....the singers that performed seemed like they were having a great time as well...one of the best shows i have been to in a long time!!!!

  • Bocephus was awesome!!!

The seats were really great & Hank Jr put on an awesome show Ticketmaster did come through for me, we were told buying the tickets that we could only get the other front sections by the stage but when I personally called Ticketmaster they got me center stage 6th row when all hope seemed lost- was worth the spend.

  • Unforgettable -The entire show!

by DJPC on 7/6/09Rupp Arena - LexingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Thia was my first time to attend this event and thought that the whole show and set up was awesome. I loved Hank Williams, Jr.'s daughter ( and of course him too) and plan to buy her CD. I was very impressed with the whole performance, loved the big screens since I was sitting in Section C- Next time I will go for VIP! I was also pleased with the security on bikes, foot, and Horseback. I had to park about four blocks down on Jefferson and felt very safe walking back to my car alone, with officers on each corner! My friend ended up not coming with me, boy did she miss a good time. Keep up the good work! DJC

This Hank show was great! He was by himself wich I made for a better concert. Hank is great no matter if hes into it or not. He is one of my idols and would do almost anything to meet him or get a autograph! Im sure that will never happen but a country boy can wish!

  • RED WHITE AND BOOM WAS WET AND UNFORGETTABLE!!!!

by JRSTONE on 7/6/09Rupp Arena - LexingtonRating: 5 out of 5

RAIN OR SHINE, THOUSANDS OF FANS WILL ALWAYS SHOW UP TO SEE HANK JR. PERFORM. HE ALWAYS PUTS ON A GREAT SHOW. I AM LONG TIME HARD CORE HANK FAN. THIS WAS AN OUTSIDE EVENT WHICH WAS ON A VERY RAINY DAY, BUT THE RAIN DID NOT STOP ME OR THOUSANDS OF OTHERS FROM BEING THERE. THE SHOW WAS AWSOME!

  • Another Great Hank Concert!

by IrishGrizz on 7/6/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - ElizabethRating: 4 out of 5

Simply put Hank put on a great show. This is the fourth time I had seen him and he played most of his hits and played for almost two hours. He also sounded great and as always did a good job working the crowd. I do wish there would have been an opening act given the cost of the tickets, but Hank for his part delivered the goods. He did spend a little too much time talking about being relevant to rookies in the NFL, but that was minor. Could of also done without the pregnant 40 year old drinking beer all night a few seats down which was kind of depressing, but that isn't really Hank's fault.

  • Hank Williams JR is AWESOME!!!!

  • Hank Jr. and Halfway to Hazard

by chocolatebirdog on 7/6/09Rupp Arena - LexingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The weather was wet, but it was a good show. Keith Anderson was a good opening act. I missed Holly Williams and Justin Moore. Hank put on a great show as always. After the fireworks show Halfway to Hazard hit the stage. If you ever get a chance to see this up and coming duo you won't be disappointed. They are a great blend of country and southern rock. The first CD is awsome and they have another coming out in August. Check these guys out. We need more music like their's on the radio. The new song "I know where heaven is" is great. Call your radio station and request it.

  • Small is good!

by Beaufantastic on 7/6/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - ElizabethRating: 5 out of 5

I enjoyed the concert, and felt because it was a smaller venue the concert was more enjoyable..however for the price I paid for my seats I felt it was not a favorable seating arrangement because it seemed that general admission on the sides got a better view as the reserved higher priced seating....It took away from my enjoyment as I couldnt see over the people sitting in front of me...if the seats were elavated there would probably be people standing adn blockign views but it jsut seemed like I spent money needless ly as the general admision was more visual to actually see the stage then the expensive reserved seating I bought... Loved the concert adn would most likely return for other concerts....

  • Hank was great

by deltabelle on 7/6/09Rupp Arena - LexingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Despite the continuous rain, we had a great time! Hank was a incredible. A very good show. It was very neat to see his daughter, Holly Williams, open for him. The venue was great. Lexington did a great job setting up the seating. There wasn't a bad seat in the place. The sound crew did a great job. My mother was in a building 5 blocks away and on the balcony could hear Hank talking like she was sitting right next to me. But, I didn't feel like I was being blown away by the sound.
