  • Hank Jr., Kid Rock & Lawn Chair Bull Riders!

by Volleyball Crawl, LLC on 6/25/24Pine Knob Music Theatre - ClarkstonRating: 5 out of 5

Alright, y'all listen up! Just got back from the most rip-roarin', knee-slappin' good time at Pine Knob with Bocephus himself, Hank Williams Jr.! Let me tell you, this wasn't your grandpappy's country concert, this was a full-blown honky-tonk hootenanny! First off, Pine Knob itself was a beaut. Nestled right there in Michigan, it felt like steppin' into a scene straight outta a Smokey and the Bandit movie. But the real star of the show was Hank. Now, this man oozes more Southern charm than a vat of sweet tea. He's got the energy of a twenty-year-old with a lifetime's worth of stories to tell, and let me tell you, some of them had the whole crowd snortin' their beer! The music? Pure, unadulterated gold. We're talkin' classics like "Family Tradition"and "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Hell With Me"that had the entire place singin' along at the top of their lungs. Heck, I even saw a couple dudes tryin' to ride a lawn chair like a bull during "A Country Boy Can Survive."Points for effort, boys! Now, there were some rumors Hank might bring out a special guest. Let me just say, the whispers on the wind didn't disappoint! Kid Rock himself showed up for a surprise duet of "All Summer Long."Pine Knob nearly came outta the ground with the eruption of the crowd! Let's just say it was a match made in redneck heaven! Of course, the night wouldn't be complete without a nod to the legend himself, Hank Williams Sr. Bocephus threw in a couple of his daddy's classics, proving that good ol' country music never goes out of style. Overall, this concert was tighter than a fiddle string on a hot summer day. If you're lookin' for a night of good music, good company, and enough laughter to make your sides hurt, then you gotta catch Hank Williams Jr. on the road. Just remember, wear your dancing shoes and loosen your belt buckle – you're in for a rootin' tootin' good time!

  • Bad ass

  • Rather disappointing

by Lisa on 6/25/24Pine Knob Music Theatre - ClarkstonRating: 2 out of 5

The show was advertised with a list of bands. It appeared that there would be multiple appearing. We did find out that only one of those bands would appear with Hank, depending on the location. The artist that appeared did a good job, but was not one of the two bands we really had hoped to see. Hank sounded good, but he played mostly songs we didn't know. Did a medley of most of his big hits. He only played an hour and 10 minutes. We have seen Hank a couple times in the past and this was definitely not our favorite.

  • No thanks

by Aman5076 on 6/25/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 2 out of 5

I will definitely skip next time. This concert was definitely not worth going too. The venue was hot as hell. No ceiling fans, absolutely nothing to keep the fans cooled down. I was surprised the venue allowed the fans to bring in sealed bottles of water. I was shocked to see people bringing in the large Stanley cups, and big yeti water coolers. Im pretty sure the rules should apply to everyone. Why would you even have rules, if you choose not to follow them? The metal detectors were a joke. I had a lot metal in my pockets, I wasn’t stopped at all. Who knows what else someone could have brought in there.

  • Amazing showmanship but all over the place

by Jebbush on 6/24/24Rating: 3 out of 5

He was very lively and sounded great but changed a ton of the words to his songs and didn't play one song completely through

  • Great evening!

by Dave on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Great evening sitting under the shade of the trees and listening to great music! Marty Stuart was great, and Hank Jr., had a great sound too! Renting the lawns chairs is worth it!😁

  • A summer night at the amphitheater

by Musiclover on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

We went to Beautiful Blossom Music Theater in NE Ohio. Wonderful evening with Kendell Marvel starting the show. They were a great upcoming act that we really enjoyed. Next in line was the great Marty Stuart & The Fabulous Superlatives!!! One of our favorites to go see. And they did not disappoint!!! They played all of his most popular songs along with some old favorites 🎶💙 And finally Hank Williams Jr came on stage!!! He sang All of his long known songs. Yes All of them!!! Really a lot of fun to listen to him in person sing the songs we know Hank Jr so well for. Oh and yes, he of course sang some of his daddy's songs, too. It looked as though he was really having fun up on stage, just like he use to. Although I would believe a bit more reserved as he is getting up there in age. (75) All in all we and the rest of the audience had a great time starting off the first summer day with a full strawberry moon. Very enjoyable 💙

  • Poor sound

by Kat on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 2 out of 5

The bands music was so overpowering you only caught every other word from Hank singing. Marty Stuart his band sang more than he did. I was not impressed with this concert at all. The poor sound system shocked me cause I’ve been to a lot of concerts at Blossom and this is first I couldn’t hear the singer over the band

  • Heat didn’t hamper the party too much!!

by CindyJo on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

We had a blast! All concert goers were amazing and friendly! We made new lifelong friends and memories! There was an excessive heat advisory and the venue made exceptions for us to bring up to a gallon of water each! The whole show was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the whole concert! Highly recommend! 5 stars!!

  • Crank some Hank

by PMFS on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing Hank Jr. and we had a terrific time!

  • Not Good

by Barney 21 on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 1 out of 5

It appeared as if Hank sang what Hank wanted to sing instead of what the fans would hv liked to heard. At 1/3rd of the songs I gmhad never heard of before. The songs he did sing he threw in words, lines, that actually were not in the song the way it was recoded. He needs to stick to his hits the way they were recorded. At this point I would walk across the street to see Hank again!

  • Smooth lively experience.

by Reneegade on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Easy going in and out, smooth entry-lively concert, so much fun! I love that they let us bring water bottles in to beat the heat.

  • The band sounded great

by Michael on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Thought the bands sounded wonderful But Hank always played for an hour and 15 minutes. I was a little disappointed in that although he sounded wonderful

  • Country Icon

by Legendterry on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Definitely country Icon and showman. My fiancee was thrilled to see Hank.

  • High energy show of fantastically talented musicians!

by FollowCB on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

From the energy to the iconic setlist, Hank & his band of brilliant players really know how to dazzle and energize a crowd! Much the same can be said about Marty Stuart and his band! What a great night of music and prowess on display.

  • Well that was a shame

by sited on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 1 out of 5

Unfortunately the vocal channels were not in the best of shape.. Thankfully it meant I didn't have to hear as much of Hank's anti-LGBTQ ramblings that inspired my exit as "Country Boy can Survive"came out But the vocal channels weren't just bad for Hank but for just about everyone. I do appreciate the venue allowing water to be brought it.

  • Band loud

by Bill on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Band was way too loud and drowned out Hank Williams

  • Amazing Fantastic

by Vicky on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Great sound, whole experience was amazing.met some great people.restrooms were very clean.plenty of space for people to sit.good choices in vendors.was quite high though.very expensive to eat and drink.I think the prices should be more reasonable.

  • Extremely disappointed

by Steve on 6/24/24Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 1 out of 5

To have an "Icon"walk off stage with no goodnight after only paying for 1 hour when people spent hundreds of dollars to see him was beyond disappointing. Expected way more from a legend in country music

  • Great Show
