GROUPLOVE IN CONCERT:
Grouplove's feel-good live shows make a strong case for a literal reading of the band's name. Featuring passionate performances, upbeat indie anthems, and audience participation, the band's shows are collective experiences that satisfy both musically and emotionally. Propelled by the group's accessible indie pop songwriting, 2013 sophomore album Spreading Rumors landed at No. 21 on the Billboard 2013, building excitement for their 2014 tour dates with supporting acts MS MR and Alex Winston.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Grouplove's formation reads like the plot of a '60s free love coming-of-age story. One week after making each others' acquaintance in New York's Lower East Side, vocalist Hannah Hooper and guitarist/vocalist Christian Zucconi left town for an artist retreat in Crete, where they met the band's three additional members Andrew Wessen, Ryan Rabin, and Sean Gadd. After performing their first show in LA in 2010, the band was invited on tour with Florence and the Machine, generating significant buzz in advance of their 2011 full-length debut Never Trust a Happy Song. On the ensuing international headlining tour, the band honed their performance skills and developed the sound heard on acclaimed 2013 follow-up album Spreading Rumors.

"Grouplove played an amazing show. They had a great setlist and looked like they had so much fun doing it. Played a great encore with an unplugged version of "Cruel and Beautiful World..."
"They were amazing and energetic and crazy... it was completely contagious and you couldn't keep from bopping around with them! I had ears that they were just as awesome live as their CDs, and that is completely right."

I took my daughter to the concert for her birthday. We had a great time. The crowd was pumped, the band the band played with great enthusiasm, and everyone enjoyed the experience. The energy was awesome and could can feel the “love” in the Palladium. I am so glad we went. Want to see Grouplove again soon!!
We understand that times have changed. But opening the doors at 8 for an 8:30 show, with all the extra steps needed, is not good.
Great Show! The energy level on stage & off stage was phenomenal .......left the venue with a BIG smile on my face. Kudos to GROUPLOVE!.........Christian & Hannah should grace the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine!!!!!
Fun songs, lots of dancing, great vibe! Love this band!!
the band was so hype and said they loved our energy. the opening group was also lovely. such great vibes
I've loved Grouplove for a long time and it was my first time seeing them live. It was such a fun and wholesome experience. The band was awesome and gave such a great performance.
Drove 2 hours up to Lawrence and had such a great night with my roommates. Got to see two great sets by BLACKSTARKIDS and Grouplove. Had a blast and made some great memories and even won the raffle they were hosting. Definitely a night to remember. Definitely recommend going to their shows if you have the chance
Amazing concert in a intimate setting! The energy of this band is insane and they sounded perfect! Played a great mix of their new stuff plus all the hits the crowd wanted. CAN’T WAIT to see them again!!
I was so impressed by this venue. It was my first time here, and they took Covid precautions so seriously. You had to show your vaccination card at the door as well as your ID which they match to your vaccination card. Additionally, you are required to wear masks inside up until you found your seats. We found a table not far from the stage and it was the best Siri I’ve ever had a concert. The band was great, couldn’t wait to see them and couldn’t believe how close we were able to see them when we finally saw them here! Will definitely be back!
I’ve literally never left a review on anything but I had so much fun! It was a great show and great music! I’ve been playing their songs on repeat since the show.
I felt really safe at the venue, they have really done a nice job with health and safety. Keep it up!
I only knew a handful of their songs but bought tickets to get out of the house. Best decision ever! They put on an amazing show and I can’t stop listening to their new album. Thanks for a great night!
This was my first show since the pandemic and it was great! Grouplove and Lizzy put on an amazing performance! XL Live Harrisburg is a nice professional atmospheric venue that I’m excited to revisit soon!!
It was an interesting concert. They came out with energy and the whole band seemed to have fun. The female singer engaged the crowd well. I had trouble catching the dancing wave as I normally do at concerts, but it was still a notable event.
Loved the venue. Favorite band was Grouplove. Looking forward to next year.
Overall the show was good but VIP experience was unfortunately ruined because of dinner the line was huge and then when it finally was a little shorter the food was gone.
Oh my gosh, where should I start?! Since Grouplove is my favorite band of all time, I got to the venue at around 10:30 in the morning and I was the second one in line(doors open @7:00). The area was pretty nice so my friend and I got donuts in the morning (it was right around the corner), and we got pizza for lunch and dinner (down the street). Okay so about the actual concert, we go in and the boys and girls got separated which was dumb, but after that we got into four lines. So we go in, and the only complaint I have is that the merch table wasn't ready when everyone got in. Anyways, both opening acts were great, but Grouplove, Grouplove was absolutely pheonominal!!! The concert starts, and I start crying because I made it to second row middle and every one starts dancing. Later that night, I had a note for the band and Hannah took it which was pretty dope. It got even better when Hannah and Christian crowd surfed, and the light work throughout the show was super cool. Also, when Ryan threw his drumstick, I ALMOST caught it! Overall, with everything included, the show was pretty dope!
Grouplove was excellent they put on a great show, the venue was awesome all of the staff were really chill.
...I would make every attempt humanly possible to see them at some point in your life. They are probably the most real people I have ever seen perform live. Not once do you feel like you're alone, like you're just an audience to performers on stage, or that you're having a dull time. Grouplove knows how to really embody their name and create a sense of love and belonging with every individual in the crowd. Not to mention they sound absolutely fantastic live. The venue itself wasn't exactly my favorite in terms of accessibility and parking, but the interior was quite nice and had a decent capacity. But I will always tell you that Grouplove is worth every single second of effort and every single penny. I will be seeing them again.
