Groovaloo Tickets

My three children who are in their 20's and I had a tough time deciding what show to see in the city. Everyone had their own opinion. I decided to make a decision with a totally unexpected decision, with the main criteria that it had to be appealing to both female and male viewers. Groovaloo was the answer....the show exceeded my expectations. I loved how the show captured the lives of the dancers through free style dance. It gave me a new outlook, "Go with the inner voice inside of you...follow the path. It might not be what others want or expect you to do but it is your journey". Everyone needs that reminder!!

I took my 10 yr. old neice to see Groovaloo, because she has an interest in hip-hop dancing...but...I think I enjoyed it even more than she did! I'm more "old school" funky-style when it comes to dancing, but am amazed by what the young folks have been doing since the beginning of rap and hip-hop and free-style.... the way the show was presented, with the life stories of the individuals being told was very effective. Stephen's story was especially moving and inspiring. Although there are a couple of female dancers that are strong, I feel what the female dancers need is more soul/funk in their style. They just don't measure up to the guys. The "old school" songs the d-j played as the theatre was filling up and then again after the performance made me want to get up and dance! Overall, it was a most enjoyable afternoon and I'm so glad I chose to see this show.

The show was great. My boyfriend and I are from the B-Boy generation and we were brought rght back through this show. We brought my boyfriend's son and a friend, age 9 and 11, and they were amazed with the dancing. I thought it was great that stories of struggle and perseverance were part of the show. Who can not relate to facing and overcoming obstacles? The character stories are certainly inspiration to those who are facing struggles. The dancing was brilliant!

Exciting, entertaining, exhilirating, hi-energy! I found it difficult to stay in my seat. The talent on that stage blew me away. I loved it! I wish I would have seen it more than one time.

It was good for young people dealing with similar life situations. Each story showed how something positive came out of a negative situation.

Very well put together, with great music and amazing dancing!

I bring my children to 2-3 shows per year for the last 4 years. They both agree that this was the best show they have seen yet!!!

The dancing was spectacular. The entire show was professional,fun and enjoyable from the first opening momrnt until the finale. What a great cast.

The cast was amazing. They kept you drawn into the story line. My seven year old understood the story and loved it. She asked to dance with the cast. Would love to see again.

I saw a quick review of the show on NBC after X-Mas which caught my attention. I immediately went online and purchased 7 tickets for my family to attend. I must say that these young talent is to be admired just the way you admired a doctor, lawyer or any other professionals. Their dance talent shows a deep dedication to what they do. I would recommend for anyone to come and witness it. The show was well presented as to the stage, music and choreography. It was extremely entertaining, don't miss it! LIFE IS A DANCE!

I wanted to see something different... this was definately it! I usually am not that into dancing, I'm not a fan of any of the T.V. dancing shows, bu I am a huge fan of Groovaloo!! From beginning to end I was amazed and when it ended I was left wanting more. If I had been in NYC for longer I would have gone to see it again.

I love this show and the music was great.. It had me dancing the whole time. They are all so talented and shared their stories with us. Would highly recommend this to my friends. A must see show.

It was very fun show and my friend and I enjoyed very much.

Being the only over thirty couple not escorting a gaggle of teeners, we were a bit out of our element, however the dance was good. Not really into the "storyline", and wanted the dancers to cut loose...it never happened. A good show, but not a recco.

Show was better then expected...........great for kids. We had 6..ages 11-16. They all enjoyed including parents! Great music and stories and of course amazing dancing.
