About

GRiZ in Concert

One of the leading independent artists in electronic music today, GRiZ is the Detroit-born, Denver-based multifaceted artist who's funkin' up dance floors worldwide with his self-described future funk sound, which mixes electronic music with his fiery live saxophone, energetic funk, and sweeping electro-soul.

Following a full year of self-reflection and creative development, GRiZ returns with ‘Ride Waves,' his new self-released album due out April 5, 2019. As his most creatively ambitious and most personal project to date, the 14-track album features collaborations with major artists like Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Matisyahu, DRAM, and Bootsy Collins and sees the producer taking his sound toward uncharted territories in hip-hop, pop, and dance music, all while keeping the funky GRiZ sound intact. The album follows his breakout album ‘Good Will Prevail' (September 2016), which debuted at #1 on the iTunes Electronic chart and charted on the Billboard 200 chart.

GRiZ's live shows, which mix improvised saxophone, guitar, and vocals and include the 15-piece GRiZ Live Band, have become massive draws around the world. In addition to mainstage performances at major festivals such as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands, as well as headlining sets at Electric Forest and Lightning in a Bottle, GRiZ has headlined and sold out Denver's legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre for four consecutive years. www.mynameisgriz.com

  • GRIZ RE:CONNECT

by Angel Meghan on 11/3/25Wintrust Arena - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing experience. It was my first time at this venue and all I have to say it wow. It was great there was not waiting in line, free water stations everywhere and enough seats so people weren't standing and blocking the view of others. The opening artists put on a great show and hyped everyone up for GRIZ. It was probably one of the best two nights of my life. Thanks to all who made the experience wonderful for all guests!

There is no artist that can do it like Griz does. So much positive energy, just incredible

  • What an Amazing Goodbye Show

by Seantall on 10/16/23Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

GRiZ is not only a wonderful musician, but he also is an amazing human being. He announced several months ago he was going to be taking a hiatus for a few years, and I can't respect him more for it. He's created such a movement, a wonderful scene, and so many great memories for us; after all his hard work, he deserves time to live a little. This show was packed with so many bangers and mixed perfectly. He really knows how to set the vibe. With it being one of his two last sets (on the same night), it was also incredibly emotional. He gave a speech that made me cry after blowing my mind with his music energy, and love. So glad I was able to attend and I miss him already, but I know we'll see him again some day.

  • Mile long security

Never seen a longer security line in my 12 years of going to concerts and festivals

  • EDC 2023

by Apollo on 8/25/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The only time I have been able to see this amazing man was at EDC 2023. Ive genuinely Never had so much fun at a set. Not only was the music amazing, but the crowd was too. Everyone was so kind and into the music, made the show that much better. One thing to know with Griz shows is its Not Just Griz. He brings other talented individuals up and if you’re open to them not being Griz, you’ll enjoy the set just as much. Any chance I can, I’ll be seeing Griz again. One of my favorites for sure

  • Not what you would expect

by Ang on 8/16/23Rating: 2 out of 5

Griz is known for energetic funk mix with dubstep in EDM. However, my friend and I did not enjoy other singers in his show in Washington, DC. Not worth the money at all.

  • G’s the man

One of the best shows I saw my dude put on 🫶🏻 loved the venue, too.

  • Echostage stop overselling please!!!

by Megan on 8/14/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Griz was awesome obviously. We were a little surprised he only played for 90 minutes though compared to an opener who was on for an hour and 45 minutes. Also, the crowd at echostage was horrific. It was hard to dance without constantly bumping into people. Not sure why this is such an issue with echostage but they should really stop overselling. It makes the experience way less enjoyable :(

  • Too Crowded

by Drew on 8/14/23Rating: 2 out of 5

I’ve been to many sold out echostage performances, and never in my life have I seen the venue this crowded. The fact that people were standing outside the main area because it was too full is absurd. GRiZ is my favorite performer, and I couldn’t even see half of the set because I was pushed all the way to the back wall of the venue. Very disappointing to see this great venue go downhill because it is overselling tickets and choosing to maximize revenue.

  • I love GRiZ

    by D. H. on 7/28/23Rating: 5 out of 5

GRiZ was my first EDM artist that I seen and I absolutely loved him. I fell in love with the crowd and the show he put on. He is an incredible artist and truly plays his love for his fans through his music. Absolute favorite EDM artist
