Gretchen Wilson made headlines as a country star when her debut single “Redneck Woman” reached the top of the country singles chart. She was the first country artist to do that in years, and her single was the quickest to reach No. 1 in decades. Wilson’s country twang, sassy attitude and deep, soulful vocals draw fans to her concerts and tours, and the honesty in songs like “Redneck Woman” are her ticket to superstardom. Wilson’s most recent release, on her own record label (Redneck), is Christmas in My Heart – the last of three released in 2013, which include Right on Time and Under the Covers as the first two.
Wilson had a rough upbringing in rural Illinois, but she credits her girlhood with instilling in her the tough and strong attitude that makes her so popular with fans. At the age of 15, Wilson was discovered singing in bars and joined her first band, Sam-A-Lama. While “Redneck Woman” shot to the top of the charts and also earned her a 2004 Grammy Award, Wilson has released other successful tunes, like 2004’s “Here for the Party,” which reached the No. 3 spot on the Country Singles chart and the No. 39 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, and 2005’s “Homewrecker,” which reached No. 2 on the Country Singles chart and No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100. Wilson has come into her own as the head of her own label, and with the three new records she put out in 2013, she has proven that she remains a strong, powerful presence in the country music industry.

Not a fan of G. Wilson but Super Kenny wayne Shepard fan Great show
awesome show i would go see her and kenny again.sfdsfsd
Great concert experience, a combination of easy in and out, comfortable venue, good acoustics, reasonable concessions and excellent performances by two great bands.
I have never been to a concert that was blaringly LOUD! Gretchen Wilson came on stage and only played 3 of her own songs. The rest was rock from the 80’s. Which I like, but I didn’t pay to see a cover band! I’ve been to rock concerts forever and it was never so loud I covered my ears and walked out. When the bass rattles your seats and beats your heart, it’s way too loud. Everyone around us left as well. What a shame!! I know it was her last night on the road with a 13 hour drive, but she could have put on the show of a lifetime. I guess people in Oklahoma just aren’t worth it!! BTW, Kenny Wayne Sheppard was so awesome. Makes me wish Stevie Ray Vaughan was still alive!!
All the singing was great, but they had the volume why to high we had to leave after her second song. Who ever is the sound person needs to be fired. This was not the first time we have had this problem. My not be going back .
Gretchen really put on a show, much more entertaining and exciting than I was expecting!!!
Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band was really impressive. I enjoyed the introduction to Jessie G also. Gretchen put on a FABULOUS show!!! I felt like I got more than my monies worth seeing these talented performers!!!
Great concert, plus had an extra special guest to sing, Kenny Wayne Shepard and Gretchen Wilson ROCKED !!!
The concert was not that great. Gretchen Wilson is who I wanted to see and was pretty disappointed by the lack of music she played and didn't play a lot of her own music. Won't attend again!
If you’ve never seen/heard her in concert, you have no idea how incredible her voice truly is.
She still has a strong voice and looks terrific! I'd like to see her again with a little more comfortable seating arrangement.
I couldn't wait for her to return to Long Island. Her voice was as strong as ever. I just wished more people would have come to see her. They missed such a great show and such a talented singer.
Gretchens voice never disappoints!!! Always a great time!
Ms Wilson's genuine and powerful performance was a joy to be part of. Welcome back Gretchen!
Gretchen is a Natural and her voice is so rich and soulful. Disappointed that the show only lasted an hour ... especially since it was my first time seeing her ...just getting ramped up and she shut it down :-(
She was full of energy happy and exciting. Could have played alittle longer but overall great!
She is fantastic. I have seen her 10 times in the past and this time was my favorite. She is still down to earth with that great voice. I still would love to sit down and have a beer with her.
The concert was great and Gretchen is still awesome to see in concert... I am so glad she is back out singing and loved her new songs she shared. It was 120 outside, but the E Center in Laughlin was very cool. The only complaint I have is that the camera man was horrible. Gretchen was introducing the band and he did not go to the person she was introducing, he just stayed on her the whole time and the whole night when someone in the band was doing a solo and Gretchen was taking a drink, he would keep it on her instead of the person doing the solo.... Also wished the concert would of been longer than an hour.
I love Gretchen Wilson. Traveled 5 hours each way to drive out there to see her and was very disappointed at the length of the show. This concert was only 1 hour long!!! I believe it was the venue and not Gretchen (I hope) but considering what we went thru to go to that concert...I was extremely disappointed. I go to NUMEROUS concerts a year all over the place and have NEVER experienced a concert so short!! No good!!!
Wow what an entertaining show. Gretchen made you feel as if she was singing just for you. The acoustic theater let you appreciate her stunning voice. She played a wide variety of songs. I ended up with a drum stick and Gretchen's autograph. She still looks sexy as hell. See one of her shows you won't regret it.
