  • Best, ever

by SusieSuperlative on 1/19/18Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Greg many, many times over the years. Both in NYC and SF. This (by far) was his absolutely best show, ever. His rundown on his trip to India has me literally peeing my pants. Love you, Mr. Proops. Keep doing what you're doing.

  • Greg Proops was superb

by SFMusiclover19 on 1/3/18Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Exactly the type of humor we needed on NYE. The host was great, the warmup act okay but Greg Proops brought down the house. I wish everyone thought the same way he does. Very funny, very accurate. We were lucky to be seated right by the stage and saw the comedians up close. Service was great, food not so much but good selection of drinks (beer, wine, cocktails) to make up for it. Thank you Punchline for a memorable New Year's Eve!

  • Proops is the King!

by ComicFangirl on 1/2/18Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

First of all, the Host for the evening, Dhaya Lakshminayaranan, and the Feature, Marga Gomez are both headliner worthy comics, so they really served to warm us up and fill us with anticipation of what was in store. But Greg Proops absolutely blew us away. From the moment he started talking, weaving between amusing anecdotes and his takes on white male privilege, not to mention the current administration, we were alternately spellbound and practically rolling on the floor with laughter. When I bought the tickets for his show, I expected to be entertained, I did not expect to be turned into a diehard fan who will never miss his performances again.

  • New Years Eve with my funny friend.

by Samgold77 on 1/3/17Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

It was like an evening with that friend who always seems to be able to make you laugh...constantly. He's sharp, at times biting, and definitely the smartest dude in the room. If you go to a Greg Proops show, you know what you're going to get and you're not going to be disappointed. If you go without knowing anything about the man, he's either going to enrage you or turn your light on. I saw Mr. Proops at the Punchline in SF on New Years eve. The last show of this miserable year. It was exactly what I needed and I was very happy to be there.

  • New Years Eve

by GG15 on 1/3/17Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Great show. I am tired, however, of the seemingly unending comedy routines based on politics. It's obviously an easy target, but probably didn't need a reminder of how much trouble the country is in. Hilarious stuff, though.

  • Best liberal-leaning comic

So many references in quick succession. I love a comic that assumes an intelligent audience.

  • A night full of laughs

by FogBuffy on 7/19/16Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Enjoyed the triple bill. Funny stuff from all three comics. Well, maybe my friend (from the other side of the aisle) might not agree with me entirely as the politics were more blue than red. But we've both been Proops folks since back in the days of the Alex Bennett show.

  • Props To Proops!!

He is always the best...a fantastic, amazing, brilliant talent...if you haven't seen him you should!

by Anonymous on 1/3/16Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Greg was great, funny, & clever the usual! My only complaint was the show was short and the other two comedians wasn't funny but Greg was awsome and he is one of my top comedian loved it!!!

  • Liberal Political Views or Bust!

by Supermariobro on 1/6/15Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 3 out of 5

The attendee must have an above average IQ, be older than 40 years old, and not have any conservative political views to enjoy this comedy routine. It was best if his mockery of Dick Cheney or religion was left out of his routine.

  • funny

Greg Proofs made New Years fun. I laughed really hard. I saw him on Whose Line Is It Any Way and that is why I wanted to see his show.

  • Greg Proops was outstanding!

by LoveShinyObjects on 1/3/15Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

I must say that this was the best show I have ever seen. I love to see my favorite funny folks and it seems I am always disappointed because they choose to drink too much or do too many drugs before they come on stage. Everyone loses. I had never seen Greg live before but was so thrilled that he was totally present. Because of that, I got to see just how amazingly funny, quick, witty, intelligent and seriously en pointe he is. The night I saw him was a special night because we took my dear friend, who just turned 18 and the thing she wanted most when she turned 18 was to see Greg Proops live. How lovely that we could take her to see him on New Year's Eve and he provided us with such a remarkable memory. So appreciative of his talent and professionalism!

  • Always great!

I love Greg Proops' outlook and views. He was one of my faves on Whose Line is it Anyway? and would recommend his show to all who appreciate his sense of humor. Also, love his no-nonsense way with people who are interrupting his act, not hecklers, but whose behavior can be annoying to other who have payed to see his show.

  • The Punch Line is a great night out!

by TKThunderpants on 11/24/14Punch Line Comedy Club - Sacramento - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

I just went to The Punchline for the first time and I had a great time! The host was good. The first comic had me laughing so hard I was in tears! I was there to see Greg Proops (who did not disappoint). Good times were had by all.

  • Friggin' hilarious!!

by LocoMoschin on 8/5/14Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Greg Proops was awesome. From start to finish, he didn't miss a beat. In fact, I think he got funnier as the night went on. The Punch Line is great too. Not a bad seat in the house. The people that work there are great as well. Great job all around. Definitely recommend seeing a show there. I know I'll be going back sooner than later.

  • had a few laughs

by Chavurah on 8/5/14Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

the opener, an Indian woman, was funnier than most opening acts. the second guy, was okay, not great, but had some funny moments. Greg Proops seemed stressed (personal issues?) but was funny as usual. His political stuff is top notch. Not quite Will Durst but very good.

  • by Anonymous on 8/5/14Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

All 3 comics were great. Greg's humor is smart, informed, and on topic. Fun to see a comic who uses their brain as well as their talent
