I couldn't bring my ticket up and my guests had to wait to enter. I had a great time other than that.
No comment everything was well organized no complaints at all
It was like 90% propaganda, it started with the national anthem which was weird as hell then it went on to a reverend to pray for us, but like half the people there weren't christian so many of us were confused about that and then for some reason a guy went up stage and started spouting American dream propaganda and calling those that don't or can't make it "playing the victim" which again confused like everyone
Ceremony was awesome but not good that you couldnt take picsv
Nice commencement but too long (4hours). If there was an intermission people could get up, stretch the legs, get some more water including the students awaiting to walk across the stage. Also making darn sure no one has airhorns on their persons.
It was nice … easy accessible for ticket n the place was decorated nicely . Ample parking even opposite the road the parking wasn’t very expensive .
The SA Jubilee Auditorium is a great facility for hosting graduation events. The friendly ushers helped us find our seats, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks were available for purchase, and there was ample space to visit in the foyer before and after the ceremony.
Other then your scanners not working. The celebration was great!
First ticket master it soooooo easy for my family to get in to the theater and the school did a magnificent job with the ceremony so in short it was a hell of a day
The event was well organized, the people from the theater were very professional, it seems that they care that the people have a good experience and feel comfortable the ushers know their job. Chela M
You could not have asked for a more iconic venue for this momentous event. My daughter received her PhD on what had to be the most blustery day so far this year. But upon entering the the Chicago Theatre, seeing all those caps and gowns, hearing the string ensemble, and realizing what a special day it was for so many students, the thoughts of the weather quickly faded. Great job! I wish I had such praise for the procedure getting through the security gauntlet. I could not get the phone app to work once I got to the ticket counter. I had the foresight to obtain a printed receipt of the tickets, which enabled me to finally get me and my family in. Not a major glitch, but one I knew would happen. At the ticket window on the outside of the building, I was told there were no discount tickets for parking. Fortunately, once I got inside, the sign stating "Parking Discount" was clearly stated.
Just one problem. The bathrooms need to be marked better. I was looking, looking, looking for a bathroom. I asked a Schott worker, he said I walked right past one. Back tracked, and still had trouble finding it. As I was walking in (men's bathroom), a girl also walked into that bathroom, so she was having trouble too. This is a potential safety risk (for girls). Needs to be addressed......
