  • Great experience..

by Sunny on 6/20/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 4 out of 5

It was great attending my son’s graduation at the Toyota arena. Wish the seating could be assigned so we could opt to get better seats but overall the experience and the arrangement was great. Thank you

  • Great Overall

by Kitty on 6/20/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 4 out of 5

It was disappointing that I did not get all three majors listed on screen when I graduated. I also noticed security did not know or show my family to their VIP seating when they had their tickets. It would be nice in the future if our children can be with us on stage. And I wish graduation was more about Hispanic culture than Scottish. Why are we even a Hispanic Serving Institution again? The student speakers were okay, I feel like they could have chosen students with a bigger impact. The screen also missed several names initially, which was probably disappointing. Overall, very fun.

  • Grad 2024

by Lanny on 6/6/24Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

The mics did not work well. It was difficult to hear speakers. Otherwise wonderful.

  • Timing and length

by Anonymous on 5/31/24Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 2 out of 5

As a single parent whom works full time the start time and lengthy ceremony on a weekday was completely ridiculous. Apx half the ceremony seemed unnecessary. I feel focusing on the Students and their accomplishments would cut the ceremony apx in half and that is why we were all there. The venue and staff were great

  • Disappointed by Cameras/Screen and TV

by Tahira MPA on 5/24/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 2 out of 5

Graduation day is the greatest opportunity for any graduate student. I enjoy being there but I felt left out for not covering a single time on TV or cameras. When I was walking and hood ceremony the Screen turned to Blue CSUSB my family and friends unable to see me on TV/Screen. I was wearing decorated caps and Hijab and there was only two females with hijab they didn’t took my photo on screen not one single time or two seconds ): I have 4.0 GPA but didn’t heard that MPA students has to getup for 4 GPA miss the opportunity to getup even though all time I was watching and listening the TV and announcement. Overall very Happy to be graduated 2024 but miss my appearance on Screen/TV ):

  • The graduation was wonderful.

by SY on 5/23/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 5 out of 5

I enjoyed watching my son walking across the stage to receive his Master degree in Business. It was a lovely atmosphere.

  • Bored audience member

by Bored on 5/21/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 1 out of 5

It was extremely boring and very difficult to stay awake. OMG please cut back on the boring speeches and limit the number of speakers. Not sure how to help but someone needs to come up with some new ideas to bring life to graduations. This one was BAD!

  • Great experience

by Esme on 5/21/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 5 out of 5

Spacious and enough seating for a graduation ceremony. Seats are a bit tight but other than that, it was great

  • Graduation

by Spirit on 5/21/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 1 out of 5

The ceremony was way, way too long. The parents and relatives in wheelchairs or on walkers were made to sit way up on the 3rd floor, and once the graduation was over, it was like a stampede getting out of there.

  • amazing presentation

by bp on 5/21/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 5 out of 5

so proud of everyone graduating , great venue , easy access and plenty of parking

  • Overpriced for graduation

by Local on 5/20/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 2 out of 5

Made me park across the street while they still had plenty of parking in the mail parking lot. Also the prices were really expensive as this was not a concert but a graduation

  • CSUSB 2024 Spring Commencement

    by acas165 on 5/20/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 5 out of 5

I thought the entire ceremony was well done. The Toyota arena is a nice venue for this type of occasion. I hope that CSUSB continues to host their future commencements there. Not a bad seat in the house.

  • Ample room. Needed more decorations.

by AC on 5/20/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 3 out of 5

I liked the fact that the venue was big enough for all the guests and air condition. However, since each car has to pay $15 parking, the decor could have been a bit more festive. There weren't enough decorations and the black heavy (funeral) color scheme wasn't very ascetically pleasing. I am happy that they have separate graduations for departments so the ceremony is fairly short.

  • Excellent Graduation and Venue

    by THE-GOLDEN-BOY on 5/20/24Toyota Arena - OntarioRating: 5 out of 5

CSSB Had a great graduation at Toyota Center. Perfect venue and professional set up. Everyone was happy. Super convenient to have so many restaurants nearby as well.

A bit long winded in the Faculty speeches but over all an amazing ceremony. By biggest congratulations to all of the grads and your bright future. Very well done for venu and presentation.

  • Horrible such a waste

by Tara on 5/29/23Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 1 out of 5

I’m so disappointed at the way this was set up whoever planned this event should be fired. Firstly we had to wait outside the event room for almost 15 mins before being let in to the ceremony when it should have been done as soon as O Canada was done secondly don’t even get me started with the reception no sit down service had to stand and we paid 25.00 each totally 150.00 Holly Molly we were so disappointed to be ho eat we didn’t even stay past the drink and went out to a restaurant for lunch instead we really should be refunded for how this event was planned and the poor outcome. For a grade 12 grad it should have been way more upper class for that price
