Goo Goo Dolls, a band that rose from the punk scene in Buffalo, New York, penned several of the most definitive hits of the ’90s. Forming in 1985, the Goo Goo Dolls experimented with hard rock before landing on a winning formula that incorporated elements of acoustic and alternative rock for 1995’s A Boy Named Goo. The album yielded the band’s first Billboard 200 chart placement at No. 27 and its unlikely third single “Name” climbed to No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1998, the band vaulted to global ubiquity with “Iris,” a ballad written for the City of Angels soundtrack that later ushered in their quintuple-platinum sixth album Dizzy up the Girl. The song remained atop the former Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart for 18 weeks, a record that stood until 2020. The Goo Goo Dolls solidified their stratospheric success with the equally catchy follow-up single “Slide,” which hit No. 8 on the Hot 100 and was certified platinum itself. In 2002, Gutterflower earned the band their highest Billboard 200 peak at No. 4, while 2006’s Let Love In added more catalog highlights like “Better Days'' and a cover of Supertramp’s “Give a Little Bit.” Founding members Johnny Rzeznik and Robby Takac have toured extensively across the 2010s while maintaining a steady output of new projects, including 2019’s Miracle Pill and 2022’s self-produced Chaos in Bloom.

Awesome, very entertaining, fabulous music.. we enjoyed every second of it.
.....these are my favorite songs. Great set that night. Songs from every album was covered. Love these guys! ❤️
Good overall performance. Played all the hits. Room for improvement, next time do not block the right of stage with a curtain and obstruct front row seats.
Johnny is still going strong and doesn’t disappoint
THE GOO GOO DOLLS Live in Concert! 8:00pm @ Saturday, April 6, 2024. The Venue inside Thunder Valley Casino My Seat: Sec 203 Row A Seat 19 To see a legendary American rock band like The Goo Goo Dolls performing LIVE in your hometown, playing hits after hits, for the young and young at heart absolutely amazing!
Johnny doesn’t disappoint but Rob should not sing alone ever. It was cringy!!
Great place to see a concert. Sound was amazing and from my seat it looked like every seat in the house was good. I will go again.
The show was spectacular, he venue was great and it made for a fantastic experience. Goo Goo Dolls rocked! The casino was a smoking venue but not the concert. No smoking in concert made it better.
Amazing concert, great venue. The band was unbelievable, so glad I was able to attend.
Tuning for different songs was and is brilliant. You are an awesome guitar player and writer.
Loved every minute of the show. Venue is really nice and the band sounded amazing and fun to watch.
I’ve seen the Goos 3 times and each time they never disappoint! I could go without Robert Takac singing any song…. And he was on stage barefoot which was gross and distracting. I will say, since they haven’t come out with anything new…. Their ticket prices should be a lot cheaper. Still had a great time, and always love hearing some of my favorites live.
The performance was great, they played all my faves and some excellent newer songs. The venue was unexpectedly nice, being at a casino. No smoking in the concert hall and bathrooms and a bar on every level. All seats had a great view and the big screens were awesome. I’ll go back there for sure!
I had a great seat, 2nd row 203 section, where I could see the stage and the large screens perfectly. The Goo Goo Dolls came and performed for an hour and 40 minutes. They did hit after hit and John Rezniak sounded even better than in he did on his early albums. It was a wonderful show and only my 2nd at this new venue and I’ve already gotten tickets for 2 other shows! Thank you Thunder Valley Casino/Venue!
I bought these tickets as a gift for my husband (and me since we would get a night out) for Valentines Day. We both love the music of the 80’s and especially 90’s rock/grunge. Goo Goo Dolls did not disappoint! They are still as good now as they were back in their hey day!
The Venue is a nice venue and it was an awesome concert, Goo Goo Dolls still rocks
Best concert ever!! They sounded even better today than when I saw them 20 years ago.
I took four kids and my girlfriend and we had a blast. They put on a great performance and played a bunch of their hit songs well worth it. Would definitely see them again.
I saw Goo Goo Dolls two times last Summer and they are even better live now than they’ve ever been! I would see them if you haven’t. I hope they tour in 2024.
As an avid concert goer, I prefer the smaller, more intimate venues, but with the capabilities to bring the big show experience. That’s why White River Amphitheatre is a favorite place to see a favorite band! Goo Goo Dolls continue to bring us new music, but they treat every show as if it’s the first show you made it to and the last show you’ll see. So they will play the nostalgic tunes they’ve played thousands of times with the same conviction as their new hits. If you ever question whether or not to see this band, always go see the Goo!
