Golden State Warriors History

Founded in 1946, the Warriors called the city of Philadelphia home for 16 memorable years before moving to the West Coast in 1962 to become the San Francisco Warriors. In 1971, the Golden State Warriors were born when the team moved across the Bay to Oakland.

The team's storied history includes seven NBA Championships, an NBA-record 73 wins during the 2015–16 season, eight players named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team, and 31 members inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

The Golden State Warriors also have the distinction of having the third most NBA Championships to their name (seven), and the third-most appearances in the NBA Finals (10). The only teams that have more are the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. The current team is led by splash brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, as well as 8x All-NBA Defensive selection Draymond Green. The Golden State Warriors’ most recent NBA Championship came in 2022.

    So Fun

by D-Rae on 1/13/23Chase Center - San Francisco

Purchase to Warriors game was easy! The information and reminder for how to download our ticket was helpful. The seats were exactly as shown in the diagram. Though they were high up, the game was easy to see and the event was so fun! The tickets were a gift for my husband and he loved it!

We could only see half of the screen

by Flo on 1/13/23Chase Center - San Francisco

Too expensive for the view. There was a big obstacle preventing us from seeing half of the screen with all the scores and statistics. Not worth it in my opinion, I doubt I'll go back

    Food

by Nene on 1/7/23Chase Center - San Francisco

I'm always dissatisfied with food at Chase center. Food is served as bland, cold or salty. I'll remember to grab something to eat before I go in the arena. Also food are overpriced. I also don't get why they remove the cover of a bottled water. What if someone sneak in something in your bottled beverage when you're neck is turned away.

    Amazing

Big fan. Nothing like watching the game live! It was the best game I’ve seen for the year. Double overtime and we won.

    Winner experience

by Bb Fan on 1/4/23Chase Center - San Francisco

The Warrior game was great. The Modelo Cantina experience was a different way to watch the Warriors. Good food, though I did miss being able to go grab a Bakesale Betty sandwich. All in all a great venue choice.

    Arena Traveller

by Clippa T on 12/31/22Chase Center - San Francisco

I’m currently visiting all the NBA arenas. Chase has a LOT of unique food options from a variety of cultures. It’s pretty easy to get food and get back to your seat even has a grab n go section. The game was an exciting close one.

    Incredible sight lines!

by Rick on 12/16/22Chase Center - San Francisco

We were seated at the tippy-top (last row) at the Chase Centre at mid-court opposite the team benches. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised in that the sight lines were excellent and you could see the court & players clearly without needing to look at the big monitors - except for replays. The only negative is that the seats are not high enough and it felt as if my knees were at my ears. The clearance for tall people is less than optimal.

by Gaz on 11/28/22Chase Center - San Francisco

My first ever NBA game and was totally amazed at not only the venue but the overall experience. The centre was so easy to get around, great views of the game etc, cannot fault anything. Already recommending to my family and friends that if they are ever in San Francisco they have to attend a game.

    Seats should say restricted view.

by HD on 11/26/22Chase Center - San Francisco

Could only see half of court due to the section to our right. People in that section blocked our view. Their seats move.

    The standard

by Ed on 11/1/22Chase Center - San Francisco

I'm 74 and getting younger. Well , certainly not feeling my age. We like to arrive early and watch Steph, Klay, and Dray warm-up. I complained about the spot lights hitting me right in the eyes at least twice a minute. You stopped that. Doesn't seem like much, but for me, it allows me to watch the pregame activities without significant visual interference. All Chase employees have been exceptionally courteous and friendly. It is "the standard" and I have never been disappointed. Thank you.

    Warriors at Chase 2022

by CDR on 10/30/22Chase Center - San Francisco

Expensive tickets, mobile ticketing worked fine. When needed to show ticket to usher to enter seats hard to find and bring back up w/out Chase Center wifi. Concessions could have been better with more healthy choices (veggies and greens) near where we sat. The basketball was great!

    Excellent

by Fredrick Wells on 10/30/22Chase Center - San Francisco

I'm not a Warriors fan, but the experience is excellent. Similar to Staples Center (Crypto Arena) for the LA Clippers.
