Golden State Warriors History
Founded in 1946, the Warriors called the city of Philadelphia home for 16 memorable years before moving to the West Coast in 1962 to become the San Francisco Warriors. In 1971, the Golden State Warriors were born when the team moved across the Bay to Oakland.
The team's storied history includes seven NBA Championships, an NBA-record 73 wins during the 2015–16 season, eight players named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team and 31 members inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The Golden State Warriors also have the distinction of having the third most NBA Championships to their name (seven), and the third-most appearances in the NBA Finals (11). The only teams that have more are the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. The current team is led by two-time league MVP Stephen Curry, who won the Clutch Player of the Year Award in 2024, and eight-time All-NBA Defensive selection Draymond Green. The Golden State Warriors’ most recent NBA Championship came in 2022.

I had a great experience!!! I really enjoyed myself and look forward to many more experiences.
I wish this happened more often! The food selection was alright. Wish the practice told you how long it was so we all knew. Please bring these open practices often. Maybe have special guests?
While on vacation to San Francisco, we made it out to Chase Center to catch the Warriors pre-season matchup. Even for pre-season, the atmosphere was amazing! It helps that the team is good and has some stars. The stadium is nice and new (and clean). Only drawback is the price of food. $20 for a chicken sandwich and fries. Get a free refillable Pepsi by signing up to be a designated driver!
We all know the team is extremely entertaining. But seeing them in person shook me. I'm so use to see them on TV. Let's go warriors!!!!
Not worth drive, parking or the amount I paid for food. Not entertaining, they did not scrimmage either. Next time don’t plan it between two games and show us a little more.
Huge price increases for food and drinks this season (my favorite spicy pineapple margarita went from $21 to $26). Listed prices used to include tax, now tax is top. I guess you thought we wouldn’t notice? This giant rip off money grab leaves a bad taste in this Warriors fan’s mouth and makes the games a lot less fun.
Had a great time. Got to see the Chase Center for the first time. Entry was smooth. Lots of employees to help find our seats. We got to our portal, and the employee at the door stated that this section was closed. So we went through another portal and made our way to our seats. We sit down, and the same employee came and told us the section was closed. It took almost 5 minutes for my ticket to load on the TicketMaster app. When it finally loaded, the employee apologized and told us he was told the area was closed. The problem was TicketMaster allowed us to buy WCA seats. There was no warnings. We're senior citizens so no one really cared. But communication was lacking and the e-ticket was super slow to load. And before you ask, I have a newer T-mobile phone.
I was so disappointed. I logged on to buy tickets upon announcement for my kids got great seats, was super excited. It was boring and not worth the drive for us. My kids were bummed. Players interacted if you were courtside otherwise waste of time to watch some drills. This was not a “real” practice. That’s what we expected. It was a shooting contest with some lucky kids who got picked.
Purchasing the tickets where easy smooth and safe same was the instructions of how to use them the only problem I had nit knowing the distance of the seat from the actual game at time of purchase We end up seating so far that we couldn’t see the players but only on the big screen which is not what I expected
The Air Supply show was awesome, great music from them as always ! Harrha’s Is Not Handicapped Friendly At All !!!! That was the worst part of the whole night and the drinks were very expensive!!’They are expensive anyway at 7 dollars, concert prices are 9.50 . They have nothing for a person in a wheelchair other than gamble.
Great fan experience, however, drinks are not cheap, 20$ is a bit expensive even for the bay.
Chase staff is almost always courteous and polite with few exceptions. One of the ushers was surly. Playoff entry configuration is cumbersome. The plaza is blocked off to monetize non ticket holders who want to watch the game outside Chase. Makes for longer lines and wait time getting in plus no chance to chill and people watch pre-game in the plaza. In game entertainment is fine, but too many fans watch large parts of the game from bars and lounges rather from the seats and diminish the home court advantage. Warriors are hardly a cash strapped franchise, so maximizing revenue during the playoffs rather than focusing on fan experience seems shortsighted.
Everything was great, easy tickets, linked to app. Perfect way to get game tickets
We were in standing room only and even though our feet were aching a bit, we had a great time. The food and drinks are always excellent and the staff are always helpful and friendly.
Seeing a playoff game was exciting but the view from the top row was partially obstructed by the catwalk and not quite worth the money
Amazing seats and amazing food. Great prices and family friendly!
EVERYTHING WAS ON POINT FROM START TO FINISH. BUYING TICKETS, GETTING TO THE EVENT, ENTERING THE EVENT. SUCH A BLAST!! IT WAS A GREAT WAY TO CELEBRATE OUR ANNIVERSARY!! AND THE WARRIORS WON!!
my very first time to a basketball game as well as my sons first time. I am going to be 57 come June my son is 23. It was an awesome experience to watch the Warriors live whoop on Da kingz 23Apr23
My experience was amazing from beginning to end. Staff was nice and helpful in locating seats. Line for food and drinks wasn’t long at all. I was taking pictures of my son and I and one of the staff offer to help take one and it came out really good. Merchandise store was busy but cashier was quick and efficient. I would love to go to a game again.
I got passes for the Chase Lounge. It was amazing up there. The view is very interesting. Finding someone that new how to get to it was frustrating. It was worth the trouble. The Warriors won so the game was great. We didn’t get anything to eat during the game. I haven’t had good luck with the food. I will be going to another game I hope soon.
