Golden State Warriors History

Founded in 1946, the Warriors called the city of Philadelphia home for 16 memorable years before moving to the West Coast in 1962 to become the San Francisco Warriors. In 1971, the Golden State Warriors were born when the team moved across the Bay to Oakland.

The team's storied history includes seven NBA Championships, an NBA-record 73 wins during the 2015–16 season, eight players named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team, and 31 members inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

The Golden State Warriors also have the distinction of having the third most NBA Championships to their name (seven), and the third-most appearances in the NBA Finals (10). The only teams that have more are the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. The current team is led by splash brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, as well as 8x All-NBA Defensive selection Draymond Green. The Golden State Warriors’ most recent NBA Championship came in 2022.

    Amazing

by Tina on 4/26/23Chase Center - San Francisco

My experience was amazing from beginning to end. Staff was nice and helpful in locating seats. Line for food and drinks wasn’t long at all. I was taking pictures of my son and I and one of the staff offer to help take one and it came out really good. Merchandise store was busy but cashier was quick and efficient. I would love to go to a game again.

    Must win game

by nartac on 4/23/23Chase Center - San Francisco

I got passes for the Chase Lounge. It was amazing up there. The view is very interesting. Finding someone that new how to get to it was frustrating. It was worth the trouble. The Warriors won so the game was great. We didn’t get anything to eat during the game. I haven’t had good luck with the food. I will be going to another game I hope soon.

    Overall it’s Fun, but…..

by Ray Pryor on 4/23/23Chase Center - San Francisco

I like sitting in section 15/16. So our food is apart of the purchase of the tix. But the food itself is very cafeteria. Just thought the food QUALITY would be better. We don’t have cheeseburgers or chicken sandwiches, instead we have tattor tots and really dry chicken strips. Any why can’t we have more variety in the pizza slices, maybe pepperoni n sausage on the same slice , what about a combination pizza? How about Nachos with melted cheese , not QUESO?

    Poor view, expensive, far

by JC on 4/11/23Chase Center - San Francisco

The organization for entering and exiting was good, but the price of tickets is too high. More than a hundred dollars for a seat almost at the roof, that the view of the players is too far, with little space in front and poor view because of tall people in front of me.

    Worth it!!

by Kvbay on 4/7/23Chase Center - San Francisco

Going to a Dubs game is always quite expensive and to me if you can swing it, ALWAYS worth it to be part of Dub Nation in CC. Shout out to CC staff who are so nice, friendly, welcoming and helpful! Hope you’re paying them well, CC.

A great experience not worth the price

by Marc on 3/2/23Chase Center - San Francisco

Ticketmaster charges are predatory, and only resale tickets are available. It used to be great to bring a family to the game, but it is not worth the price any longer

    Nice Stadium/Disappointed so many injuries

by NSS on 3/1/23Chase Center - San Francisco

Unfortunate that the cost to attend the game is so pricey, and out of reach for so many fans. While I understand there is always the risk of players being injured, it is disappointing to pay such exorbidant prices and not to see 3 of the starters play due to injury.

No stars in the game no stars for the review

by Draymond backpack 3 on 2/15/23Chase Center - San Francisco

The game was good and close but ridiculously expensive for the fact that Steph Curry and LeBron did not play it makes booking tickets like this a risk for any fan who wants to see certain players months in advance because if you wait it may cost a lot more money. The prices for expectations that you may not even get as far as the players not playing is what makes it a big risk getting tickets to an NBA game with the level and amount of time players are sitting out with injury and rest.I think it is only worth it for locals in the area and season ticket holders to go to the game. I came to this game from Canada and spent around 700 USD for everything to come for 24 hours and see what was still an entertaining game but not worth the money without the names. Prices should be lowered but will not because of inflation and Ticketmaster being able to do whatever they want as far as prices go. It's unfortunate but if people are rich or live nearby I would recommend it.

My first time at the Chase for a Warrior game. We arrived an hour early so no lines to get in. Even exiting was easy and crowd control was awesome! $21 for a margarita was crazy! No more drinking there!

    Warriors vs Grizzlies

by Warriors Fan on 1/28/23Chase Center - San Francisco

First of all, the Chase Center is an awesome arena. The staff is friendly and the layout/seating is perfect. The Warriors/Grizzlies game was a nail biter and to experience it at the Warriors home arena, Chase Center, made it even more memorable. Go Warriors!
