Emmet Cohen has a wonderful stage personality and truly relates to the audience. He is a must see along with his side men.

My mom and I shared such a special night out on Dec 7. going to see this live jazz performance at the amaturo theater was such a treat for her and myself. while I grew up in this area I haven’t been back to the broward Center in many years and the night couldn’t have been better! It was a perfect Wednesday night out - delicious dinner , glass of wine and parking nearby! The venue itself is so gorgeous & impressive. to be Able to hear one of the most talented trios in the jazz world today in such an Exquisite space was a real gift!!!! :)

My husband and I really enjoyed the Emmet Cohen Trio! They played a variety of music and each musician played his instrument at the highest level. Emmet Cohen spoke to the audience several times and talked about his and the other band members' backgrounds. He is very charismatic and a wonderful band leader. I highly recommend the Emmet Cohen Trio!

Have you ever made a faux pas? Well I invited a friend to join me for a special night out. We arrived early as to see the area have a cocktail and be prepared for a phenomenal performance. Unfortunately we were a day late!!!! I was so disappointed for my friend who almost never goes out. What can be done about that?? Paid for two good seats, parking and sadly for both of us no musical soirée. So an evening with Emmett I’m certain would have been something to cherish.

Did not attend due to coronavirus virus concerns. Surprised that the event was not cancelled given the CDC guidance of March 7th.

They were awesome! We love that genre of jazz and we had wonderful evening enjoying such jazz masters.

We knew that John Pizzarelli would be great. His 2 accompanists were as amazing as him. It was a great night

The Amaturo Theater is intimate for performances. The performance by John Pizzarelli was fantastic! He is a great entertainer. The music by he and his artists was world class.

What can I say! John Pizzarelli is an incredible talent. I have seen him perform a number of times! If you like anything jazz go see him!

When we discovered Veronica Swift on a video e feel in love with her. She is amazingly talented and at her age she has nowhere to go but up.. we expect her to be big . ( she pretty much is now)

It was a wonderful evening with Veronica Swift and the Shelly Berg Trio. We enjoyed it immensely.

The selection of songs was so fun and reminiscent of old times. I had fun singing along to tunes I haven’t heard in years Nestor Torres, one of my favorites, was a fabulous addition to the evening I sat there the whole time with an ear to ear smile on my face Kudos.....

I have been following the 4 freshman since their days with Stan Kenton. the evening was a delight and their harmony brings back pleasant memories. A little while ago Brian Wilson, in a Beach Boys interview was asked where he got his inspiration for the music he composed and arranged and said it came from the 4 freshman. Would love to see them again real soon.
