GoGo Penguin Tickets

Seeing GoGo Penguin live was an awesome and memorable experience. These guys are the real deal musicians. I was so impressed by their art, precision and professionalism. The only thing that could have made the experience better was the opener. First of all, there was no opener listed on the ticket. They came out late and didn’t introduce themselves so it was a little confusing. They also were not very entertaining. It was already a late show and I’d had a drink so they actually almost put me to sleep. I still don’t even know who they were.

It was second time that I have a chance to listen them. They were amazing.

Minus 9 outside in the queue Kept the jacket on inside the venue They came on and we all swayed to the rhythms You look from one member to another fixed by the intricacy of play and get swallowed up in the whole sound. Each song built, played with you then went higher. They are the experts in the sudden silence as they finish on a note and leave you leaning forward for more. We were fuelled on good rum, to banish the cold, but the guys played an intense set that kept the glow going all the way back to Philadelphia...good times

Go go pinquin was phenomenal. They are the tightest trio of have ever seen. Syncopation was outrageous. They must return to NYC very soon. There new material is awesome. Can't wait for the CD to drop. Briefly met them after the show and was impressed with their humble demeanor.
