Godfrey is one of the hottest comedians on the circuit, performing all over the country and hitting all the major festivals. His talent has landed him a deal at Fox to develop an animated sitcom based on his life, and this past winter he just filmed a one hour special, "Black by Accident," with Comedy Central.
Godfrey has a recurring role on FX’s hit show "Louie," and has credits that include "30 Rock," "Soul Plane," "Chelsea Lately," "Zoolander," and many more.
Show was amazing I really had a great time & everyone I came with did as well just really will never be going back to the Wilbur Theatre I’ve never been so uncomfortable. This is the 2nd time I’ve went one time we got a “ table “ this time I figured the mezzanine may have better seating. I was wrong hopefully next time he comes it’s not at Wilbur
Had a great time, and great laughs! Wasn’t sure what to expect as I’m not very familiar with Godfrey’s comedy acts or comedic style. He did not disappoint! Also, I’ve never had any issues or frustrations while at the theater, and the staff is always very welcoming, helpful and accommodating
Godrey was amazing! Witty and hilarious! He covered like, every taboo topic but with a lightness that felt like no one left offended. I cant wait for him to return.. not sure why this show didnt sell out. Also, looking forward to seeing Andre, who opened, again. He was great.
When you go to a comedy show you want to laugh where you feel like your chest is going to implode. Well my man Godfrey is that brotha. His impersonations kill me especially the Jesus one...LMAO! He is mad hilarious and a truth serum with his comedic gift. I love that brotha and I ride for my Naija peoples...on god!.
We laughed so hard our heads hurt!! Super intelligent, witty,even funnier than we expected.

It was a great time, all the employees were courteous and helpful/ the service was prompt, the show was excellent, Godfrey and Andre Kim killed it_ but that's no surprise. I appreciated the diversity and I'm looking forward to catching another show at the Wilbur.
Godfrey is HILARIOUS!!!!!! My wife and I had a blast at the show. Godfrey is smart, witty, and funny as hell. Plus he has a GREAT stage presence.
I was just happy to finally see him in person. I love the intimate feeling of smaller audiences but he absolutely deserves a larger platform. He holds no punches as he mixes his knowledge of history, racial tension, and other uncomfortable topics that we don’t like to openly discuss in with his comedy. He makes you think and laugh simultaneously. Please support my comedic crush, Godfrey and go to his shows, follow his “In Godfrey We Trust” podcast and social media pages! YEAHH SHUNN!!
My cousin and I had a great time! The seating was great and the guys were so funny. I never thought that I would be laughing so hard on a Wednesday night! I have to find other events closer to home! My only regret was not getting autographs.
The Howie Mandel comedy club was very spacious and we had good seating. Godfrey was very funny and engaging. However, I do wish to show was a little bit longer. Overall it was a good $20 spent for really good entertainment
