Goapele is a beautiful soul! Amazing voice and band. She's a must see. She deserves so much more recognition and hopefully she will with the great music she continues to put out.

Enjoyed the show, both performances were great. Only thing I would change is the silence between artists. Would be nice to have music playing while having dinner before the show. Food was good. I had catfish and red beans and rice.

Goapele is an awesome perform because she sounds exactly like her music. I was like listening to the CD live. Not too mention I felt like the price made the show an unbelievable value. I would recommend anyone seeing Goapele live in concert because her voice delivers.

I have been a huge fan of Goapele for yearrrrrrrrsssssssss and i was SO elated that after what seemed like forever, she finally did a show out here in the DC area! She did and AMAZING JOB and gave us the show of a lifetime!! Russell Taylor did a phenomenal job as well! I hope she comes back soon and not wait another 7 years!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE YOU GOAPELE!!!!!!!! I really enjoyed the Birchmere. The entire waiting staff were excellent and highly professional. The food great, the box office and announcer were really nice and the facility and crew very experienced. Salute to the entire staff and Birchmere. Now for GOAPELE She was everything her shows are very musical filled with instrumentals , passion, and Excitement .

I love everything about the woman and her voice will make you fall in love with her over and over again !!!!!!

Goapele is a MUST-SEE live performer. How she sounds on CD, MP3, Vinyl, whatever...is how she sounds live. Magnificent!

Goapele delivered an awesome performance. I had never seen her perform live so I was excited to see her. She was amazing. Loved her voice and new short hair cut! It was a packed house and she got the crowd going. She performed for about an hour and 15.

I had an awesome time. Wayna and Goapele were had great performances. I would recommend seeing Goapele whenever she is town, you won't be disappointed.

Great show and I loved the venue! The first act was great and Goapele finished it off. Both performers had great stage presence.

This event was dope because of the venue. You could stand up front by the stage or hang out in back by the bartender :) What topped it off is that we got to meet Goapele after the show. So cool to be able to thank her for sharing the gift of her beautiful voice with us fans. She is down to earth. Would definitely see her again and recommend checking her out to anyone into her music but hasn't been to a concert.

This was the first time I saw Goapele perform. She was amazing and has a voice of an angel. I knew she could sing really really good but baby seeing her up close and personal took it to another level....The girl can SANG....she blew the roof off the sucka. I will go back to see her again and again. Ohhhh and the gentleman that opened for her V. Rich was also too. I got 2 of his cds and look forward to getting his new cd too.

Goapele has an amazing voice and vibe. Her show was excellent, including the opening act.

Goalepe's performance was wonderful. She sang several songs from all of her albums, as well as singing some songs from other artists. Her band and backup singers are extremely talented. Goalepele sang a song paying tribute to the struggles of the people in South Africa, not forgetting her roots. She expressed her gratitude for this sell-out event and the love she received the crowd.

This was the 2nd time I was able to be in the presence I such a magnificent talent that is Goapele! The show was a brand new experience from the 1st which was fresh and exciting! I will be in attendance the next time she is in town for sure :)
