The venue was intimate , food was good and she was effortlessly good amazing. I will deffinately see her again!

It should be a requirement for all Artist to peep Goapele's performance to show how a TRUE artist treats her craft... Excellent, show.... Excellent!!! This woman is the TRUTH!!!!

Goapele sounded excellent in person and she was looking FINE in that leopard print dress! Opening act Yunna was a pleasant surprise. Didnt know what to expect when she walked on stage timidly and spoke softly introducing herself but when she started singing it was very well received by the audience. Had a great time, the El Rey is a very nice venue to catch a show.

Best show I've seen this year! Venue was perfect, didn't have to wait long to get my tix at the Box-Office. Great DJ and opening acts! Goapele's performance was mesmerizing and convinced me to buy her album!

I really enjoyed this concert! I wish it didn't take so long to have Goapele come up on stage, but other than that, I enjoyed it very much!

I attended the last Goapele at Jazz Alley this pat weekend. I had a WONDERFUL time. It was my first time attending a show at Jazz Alley; I really dug the scene there. The show started promptly and Goapele and her band had tons of energy. They put on a great show and it was clear that they were enjoying themselves. I stuck around for a few minutes after most people had cleared out and was lucky enough to have a few minutes of her time and get my CD autographed! YAAAYYY!

Goapele and Wunmi gave NYC their all at BB Kings in NYC on Monday - what an awesome way to start the week!! Wunmi set it off with great energy and powerful lyrics, and Goapele was sultry and smooth. Both are inspiring artists.

Goapele's album release party was wonderful! Her voice is even more amazing in concert. She sang a mix of her previous hits, as well as songs from her new album - Break of Dawn. She got the crowd singing along and moving along! The venue has floor space that allows you to come close to the stage, and bask in the vocal greatness of any of the artists that perform there. B.B. King's is great because you have the option to sit down and have a meal and/or drinks, or get up close to the stage and rock out!

I had a great time at the Goapele album release concert. I have followed her since she released her first album in 2001 and it was great to finally see her in concert. Goapele did not dissapoint as she performed songs from her new cd, as well as, songs from previous cds. It was well worth the 1 1/2 drive to NY since she is hardly ever on the east coast. I truly enjoyed myself and would take the drive to see her perform again!

I saw Goapele on Monday , October 24 at BB King NYC. I have been waiting to see her for 3 years and could not believe she was coming to NY. I came in from CT and was so glad that I did. Her voice is as perfect live as it is recorded. I could not wait in line to buy Break of Dawn but I did buy it the next day. Love her!
