Global Dance Festival Tickets
The Global Dance Festival isn't just the largest annual summer music event in the Rocky Mountain region — it's two days of utter EDM immersion in an environment tailor-made to support every vibe, pulse and drop served up by a diverse array of performers. While superstar producers and DJs like Deadmau5, Zedd and Tiësto are known to top the bill at the Broncos Stadium at Mile High in Denver, the five stages generally cater to different sounds, from bass blowouts to thumping house to alternative strains. Meanwhile, the other senses are stimulated via state-of-the-art stagecraft, roving circus performers, huge art installations, actual carnival rides and a food truck marketplace. Oh, and don't forget the silent disco, where revelers don headphones and pick one of three live-DJed channels to dance to. In 2019, the Global Dance Festival featured performances by rave regulars like Kaskade, ZHU, Galantis and Diplo, alongside revered old-schoolers like Green Velvet and buzzing newcomers like Black Caviar.
Global Dance Festival Background
The Global Dance Festival was born at Red Rocks in 2002 from the ashes of a beloved, but much smaller, event called Rave on the Rocks. Nestled within that eerie but beautiful natural setting, GDF was a glorious contrast of neon lasers and digital noise — a true destination for dance fans — and the festival helped earn Denver a respectable place within the EDM scene. All of that paved the way for a move in 2017 to Mile High, which sits at 5,280 feet above sea level and feels nearly as wide. The bigger venue allowed organizers to turn the Global Dance Festival into one massive playground for more costume-clad fans than ever before, with more performers, too. While they've experimented with hosting live bands like Empire of the Sun and rap acts like Gucci Mane, this weekender's strength is right there in the name: pulling together the best DJs and producers from across the wide world of electronic dance music.
Best venue in the world!!! And so many great artists!
Fantasti line up! Great nights filled with a gorgeous view and heavy beats. If you didn't go this year, you truly missed out. Three amazing nights!
The event was absolutely amazing, Skrillex killed!
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing music great people amazing event organization I LOVE GLOBAL DANCE FESTIVAL!
Music was mediocre and the crowd very rank. Few people were actually dancing and most people only knew how to bounce up and down with their arms in the air. In short it was not worth the money; I'll go to an actual club next time.
Best time of my life friday night! skrillex and Nero !!!! :O skrillex hands down best performance ive ever seen it was DA BEST!!!
too amazing for words!!!!!!!!!!! there were alot of stairs but it was a great time
Props to the GDMF organizers for putting on a very well run event. Great venue and perfect set up. Savoy was awesome, Datsik was epic and Gareth delivered a stellar set. The bad news is that Benny Benassi, one of the most exciting djs in electronic music has become boring and monotonous. I saw Benny a few weeks before at EDC Las Vegas and actually thought that maybe somehow I just didn't hear him play his biggest hits, "Satisfaction, "Come Fly Away", "I Am Not Drunk", "Spaceship", "Finger Food". Well KC confirmed it , he's just not playing them and it wouldn't be so bad if we was playing something else that was epic but what he played was so painful and boring with nothing happening. Who ever thought the Benny could suck this bad. Note to GDMF organizers for KC...Deadmau5, Porter Robinson, Afrojack, Dada Life, Manufactured Superstars, Felguk, Calvin Harris, Stanton Warriors, Kaskade
it was terrible! Every DJ sounded the same and they all play the same song. Then Benny Benassi, the main reason i went , didn't even play his signature songs!
THE MOST ABSURDLY AWESOME CONCERT I HAVE BEEN TO. WORDS ARE INCAPABLE OF DOING A JUSTICE TO DESCRIBE HOW FANTASTIC THE SHOW WAS.
LMFAO and Major Lazer performed very poorly. I was disappointed that they were given fairly lengthy (hour and a half) sets. They should have had Porter Robinson on the main stage instead of LMFAO and given the better performers (such as Porter, Skrillex, and Nero) extended sets. Skrillex was absolutely amazing. The $90 was worth him alone!
Nero and Major Lazer killed it! Skrillex was such an awesome show, he brought the crowd up and down, and his drops were INSANE! Porter Robinson slayed it on his 19th birthday and ended such a great show! LMFAO sucked, such bad headliners. Their sound was bad, they weren't dance music, and I have never seen so many people leave the headliner event before. Next year I hope there is a better headliner, but other than that GLOBAL DANCE FESTIVAL WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SUMMER!
skrillex, major lazer, nero and porter blew my mind. LMFAO isnt dubstep, and failed miserably when they tried. the 4 listed above were really good. manufactured superstars were good as well. i was really sad when they kicked skrillex off.. i almost wish his set had never ended
2nd day was amazing! wish it was still going on ((:
I had high expectations for this rave/concert and they were blown away by the end of the night! The concert had a creative setup (front stage, back stage), the artists that were there were well picked, and the overall excitement of the crowd was incredible. Everyone was wearing the sickest outfits and the enthusiasm was contagious. I am making this an annual event for myself and for my friends!
Title says it all. Will continue to go yearly for as long as it's around. By far better then last year, only wish it would last longer then 130am, maybe 4am, make it a real dance festival.
its was unforgetable the night was amazing especialy when it rained cant wait till next year
Dope show. Lots of good acts on all three stages. Skrillex and major lazer were sick!
the entire night was absolutely incredible! i never wanted it to end i will definitely be going to gdf every year from now on.
