The show rocked my face off. I found somewhere to stand comfortably with enough elbow room to sing and groove. The sound was awesome! Defintrly a great show.

by guyface on 2/20/11Center Stage Theatre - Atlantaglassjaw is incredibly tight. i still cant beleive that only 3 guys can make that many sounds and recreate an album quality sound on stage. center stage was also fantastic from sound to atmosphere. also, the vinyl is just a short flight of stairs away where you can grab a beer and a smoke and listen to terrible jack johnson rock.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Glassjaw's hiatus was totally worth this show.
by CitizenPain on 2/19/11Center Stage Theatre - AtlantaBeing that I have been a long time fan of Glassjaw, I was delighted when they announced their current tour. I went to the 1-1-11 show in NYC this year and was privy to the songs on the Coloring Book EP. Needless to say I came to this prepared and excited to purchase Coloring Book. Little did I know that the band would be giving them out FREE at the end of the show. The performance was outstanding. Daryl sounded amazing. So much cleaner than the NYC show. My thanks go out to these guys for sticking to what they believe in and being one of the few bands that actually show true respect for their fans. They are doing this all on their own dime, no major labels. I will support them in any way I can to show my gratitude. GJ rocks baby!

by GOANDGET on 2/19/11Firestone Live - OrlandoThe best thing so far that could have happened in 2011 is Glassjaw touring and putting out new material! They played all of their songs off of their two new EP's plus more and just sounded absolutely amazing!! Go see this band!!!
Rating: 3 out of 5 GlassJaw was bittersweet
by 18200 on 2/18/11Firestone Live - OrlandoI've been listening to GJ for years and I love the heavier, angrier, side of their music as most followers do, so I was a little disappointed with their newer songs- which they played in tangent for the last 20-30 minutes. I noticed around me during the slow, melodic, trance-like sound of their newer song(s)- I'm guessing it was more than one although it did seem to blur into one long transient state, that people were checking their phones, making trips to the bar, using the restroom and some even leaving. I'm pretty sure the majority of people there, having not seen GJ in quite some years, wanted a show full of the old energetic songs we grew to love with possibly some newer songs mixed in, not vice-versa. GJ is a distinct genre and after years of being dormant we were expecting a great awakening with mayhem-induced pits and all-out epic chaos, instead we were lulled to submission and left in a daze wondering what exactly we just witnessed. I know bands hate being type-casted, but there is a reason they have followers, because people genuinely enjoy their specific sound, you can deviate slightly but should always return to your roots (because that's what got you where you are). GJ should stick to its trademark and stop experimenting with this new sleep-inducing blur ESPECIALLY when we don't see them live very often, if at all. If you are lucky enough to catch a rare GJ show, you certainly want to hear most of your favorite songs...

Rating: 5 out of 5 GlassJAw KNOCK OUT
by SocratesJackson on 2/18/11Firestone Live - OrlandoJust saw GlassJAw in Orlando and it was one of my TOP 5 favorite shows of all times! I have been waiting to see these guys since they went on hiatus back in 2004. They entire show never let up...topped off with an encore that was a half hour of extended jam play...amazing. On the way out the door...they gave us all a FREE copy of their newest EP! SEE GJ LIVE!

by OmizZle on 2/18/11Firestone Live - OrlandoHANDS DOWN BEST BAND EVERRRR! at least in my opinion. Spectacular show. New jams from Coloring book are mad sexy! Durijah's drum parts are redonkulous! So ill. As expected Palumbo tore the roof off the firestone live. Such a captivating performer. With a monstorous band behind him that barely moves around more than a head-nod or constant Manny head-bounce, leaves plenty of space on stage for Palumbo anticts. Vocals were on point leaving out some crutial scream & talking parts of songs for the audience to join in (which you best believe i did!) Beck's guitar tones were crispy & tight just the way I like them, yet big and full. Less guitars on stage & in the mix leaves more room for the melodies to cut through or sore over. Only complaint is that they didn't come down to Miami!!!!! -Omar from Miami. Mad Glassjaw love down in tha dirty south guys!

by XvahcX on 2/16/11The Norva - NorfolkThe opening bands did not fit in, but Glassjaw sounded amazing. I waited 6 years for them to come back around and it was worth it. I just wished they would of played more from off EYEWTKAS.
Rating: 5 out of 5by aedro on 2/15/11Trocadero - Philadelphia one of the best shows ever... great lighting and venue. affordable drinks and helpful staff. my only complaint is the sound guy had the levels too high... and that doesn't warrant losing a star

by SouthernStyleSweetTea on 2/15/11Trocadero - PhiladelphiaGlassjaw is one of the few bands that are entertaining to watch as a whole. All members move and groove to the music. The sound was perfect - not too loud and you could hear every piece of the band. I love how Daryll looks throughout the crowd while he sings -- not many musicians do that. They played music from almost every stage of their career, including new experimental stuff. They gave out their latest EP, the Coloring Book, which is very different from stuff they've put out in the past. Overall -- nothing less than I expected from previous years of seeing them!!
Rating: 5 out of 5 AMAZING!

by xTamTamx on 1/4/11Best Buy Theater - New YorkMinus Daryl's lack of enthusiasm in the first half of the set, they played phenomenally. The band was tight as always and I think Daryl sounded better this night than I've ever heard him in the past decade+.
