    GLASSJAW 10 YEARS LATER!

    by Jerrica007 on 3/11/11Altar Bar - Pittsburgh

These guys know how to put on a show. They played all your favorite Glassjaw songs, PLUS all of their new EP! Phenomenal job. Daryl Palumbo is entrancing. We actually met him outside afterward and he was one of the nicest, most appreciate people I've ever met. Can't wait for them to return!

    It's been a minute

    by Cheezhead8it on 3/10/11Peabody's Downunder - Cleveland

I havnt seen them in awhile so ofcourse I enjoyed it. The new stuff sounded great for the encore. And then we get the new stuff for free walking out the door after the show? That's a plus :) Could have used some elbow room but that's what I would expect from this band.... Packed.

    Glassjaw Excitement

by audiomckc on 3/10/11Sokol Underground - Omaha

Glassjaw was amazing. They don't even need a second guitar anymore and still sound 100% GJ and fantastic. Plus, they gave away the newest 6 song EP for free at the door. Sweet!

    Awesome

    by Panda88 on 3/9/11Altar Bar - Pittsburgh

Definitely worth the wait! Palumbo did not scream as much as I expected but he definitely showed off his vocal talents.

    GLASSJAW IS AWESOME!!

by Anonymous on 3/8/11Peabody's Downunder - Cleveland

I went to the Glassjaw show w/ tidal arms and these people at Peabody's Concert Club in Cleveland Ohio and this show was everything and more! I am a huge Glassjaw fan and so are my friends. I have never seen Peabody's that packed in my life, they sold the venue out* So much energy on stage and had an amazing pit the entire night!! I seriously hope that Glassjaw comes back to Cleveland again!!!

    Glassjaw

by turnleft on 3/8/11Majestic Theatre - Detroit

GlassJAw was incredible as is to be expected. They played an extra long show & made it damn good by giving an amazing performance. To top off the best concert I've been to in years, they gave away their new EP as we left. Would Do Again.

    Glassjaw @ Peadbody's

by dustinrinehart on 3/8/11Peabody's Downunder - Cleveland

The Cleveland Glassjaw show was incredible. Far more production than I've ever seen GJ have (was my 6th GJ show since 2000). 3 LED panels were the backdrop which mostly switched between the colors green and white with a few other visual effects mixed in, and house lights were minimal so the band looked like silhouettes for most of the show. It looked great. High energy as always with a great structure to the setlist. Was impressed with Tidal Arms also. A lot of things about them reminded me of Hum and Failure. Another thing that surprised me was seeing that GJ had a bus. Any other time I've seen them it was a van or RV. Even Head Automatica were in a van the 3 times I saw them. I guess it really does pay to be unsigned these days

    Another amazing show!

by Islandofness on 3/7/11Majestic Theatre - Detroit

The lead singer of glassjaw is pure sex on stage. This was my second glassjaw show and they once again did not disappoint! Amazing stage presence, amazing energy, amazing sound, amazing lighting. Everything about this show made the trip from muskegon to detroit worthwhile. The venue was kind of run down and dirty, there was no re-entry so the smokers had to improvise by smoking in the rest rooms, and there were very few tables (maybe 5?) so it was standing room only which was pretty annoying. But glassjaw made all of that unimportant by rocking out as hard as possible and showing that they still have it. Bonus free copies of their new EP coloring book at the exits.

    Eh

    by Merth83 on 3/7/11Majestic Theatre - Detroit

I didn't even get to see Glassjaw. Left early to avoid the crappy roads and also because of the rude bouncers at the Majestic. The first band was okay, but the singer was awful. Second band was sweet, didn't catch their name. Wish I could have seen Glassjaw.

    completely meh

by iudfbbnad on 3/6/11Sokol Underground - Omaha

i've seen glassjaw before. the energy was not there. daryl's moods seem much more stable than they used to be. the show was glitzy and cool, not cathartic and intense. they only played one song from everything you ever wanted to know about silence. most of the songs seemed to be from their new ep. they handed out eps at the door, which was way cool of them. in short, there was NO ENERGY.

    by billshakes626 on 3/5/11Sokol Underground - Omaha

So I had a lot of fun at this show. More fun than I have had in a long time. They were great to watch and the lights were really cool.

    1993 Forever

by Shastamcnastygod on 3/3/11El Rey Theater - Los Angeles

Glassjaw has never let me down. I've seen them 3 times now and they consistently get better every time. Their newer material is completely different, but they're ahead of 90% of the bands out there with their originality and raw energy live. If you've never seen Glassjaw live, you can't honestly tell you're children that you've lived.

    Glassjaw Concert=amazing

by Matt650 on 3/2/11The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

The show was great. awesome vocals accompanied by great guitar drums and bass. Spectacular show, one of the best I have been to. I have a hurt back and was told I couldn't sit upstairs in the balcony. I stood on the ballroom floor for about 4 hours. Very uncomfortable and would not do this again.Part of the reason I went to the show in the first place was that I would be able to sit down (in a chair, not on the ground)

Music, great .... Glassjaw's entourage: jerks

by Sjjazz on 3/1/11The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

The music was solid. The venue was beautiful and the acoustics, clean. The roadies, assistants, etc. Of the band, were absolute scumbags though.

    Glassjaw....is failing recently

by opalcandy on 3/1/11The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

It breaks my heart to write this as GJ simply could do no wrong ever. They are the best there ever was, literally. But times are changing i guess. Saw them open for deftones in 2000 and they were the best act I had ever seen and heard. We don't need to go on and on about why they're incredible as we all know why. Anyway, immediately my all time favorite. Saw them again in Chicago in 2006 and they were still pretty good but not like 2000. This time in san fran the band seemed negative, kind of a lame vibe and pissed at each other maybe. Just not that fun, hard driven energy it once was. Almost like they were just going through the motions to get it over with. The drummer still cannot play the old material correctly and continues to speed up and slow down on tempos through the songs. I thought that would have been rectified as of 06 but apparently not. And to top it off, the sound quality of this venue was pure mush. I love GJ... the music, the live energy, every aspect of everything they once had. Daryl, get off your negative-depresso Mick Jagger kick and get on the ball. I'm not saying screaming like 10 years ago is viable as our bodies and abilities change with age. But man, you guys gotta snap out of this or you have seen your last days. The new 6 song ep.... oh boy. It's ok. Gold is good. I realize as we all mature with age so does our musical taste and the farmer/jesus glue/lennon direction is awesome. Just don't head the direction of the ep material i beg of you. This band may be done. Or, they may be an album only band at best...which I'll take if they keep pumping out the classic material.

    Not as I remembered

by Jwhite8 on 2/28/11Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

I've been a fan since their first record was released and have seen them play live a few times back in the day. This show inperticular was pretty week and was nowhere near as I remember from past shows. I only hope that the other shows on this tour are better. But it was a pleasure to see them again and to know that they are back after such a long hiatus. They need to step it up and BRING IT as I know they can.

    Weak Glassjaw Performance

by Hudson on 2/27/11El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

Glassjaw started off great w/ John Lennon, Tip Your Bartender and Mu Empire...from there in my opinion it was downhill. The crowd looked completely out of it by the end of their set. The sound was horrible. You could barely hear the guitar. Thanks for the free EP though.
