  • Best Gig Ever

by Van on 3/23/22The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver SpringRating: 5 out of 5

Glassjaw played their entire songs off their albums Everything You Need To Know About Silence and Worship and Tribute including the extra tracks, which was a very nice surprise. I was expecting that they will only play few songs of each albums. I really love how all the songs evolved througout the years - the songs sounds a little more mature specially how Daryl sings nowadays. They changed some of the songs structures or maybe its because of how they all matured as a band and Daryl almost focus on singing compared to the pure aggression on the cd. Justin's tone is Godly - very far from what I hear on youtube. The drummer and the bassist fit the band very well. They held the rhythym together the entire night. Great musicianship and they never missed a beat at all. I cant imagine played for two hours straight and still sound great till the end. But the biggest thing I appreciate was the whole experience. What they did on the visuals and additional sound elements can never be felt on your headphones. You feel the bass hit your chest. You hear all the drum notes. You get chills when they play the silent part of every song. Every Glassjaw fan should see them in the upcoming tour. I am pretty sure this is probably one of the best live shows I have ever been. The venues lights and sound helped Glassjaw deliver what they are trying to do. Now I wish they can tour again and play the Coloring book in this configuration.

  • Worth the wait

Glassjaw is incredible live. Darryl screams like a demon (in the best way). Best merch too.

  • Glassjaw Show

    by charlotteguy1 on 7/31/18The Underground - CharlotteRating: 4 out of 5

It has been a while since I have been to The Underground, great remodel of venue! Staff was nice and performed each duty pretty well. Opening band, not my favorite style of music but sounded great! Glassjaw had lots of energy and had a great set! The only negative aspect of the entire show was their sound was not mixed that great, seems like they were rushed getting on stage. Overall, I had a great time, will continue to support/promote and will be back for more shows!

The music was great. We really enjoyed the bands. Opening act was very good also. Reserved seating at $70 was a rip off. I can not stand up for the whole show any more and will not go back to the Underground until they get a better price on the sit down seats.

  • Glassjaw killed it

by JManon on 7/30/18The Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great show. The crowd was not that into Quicksand for some reason (I thought they were great), but Glassjaw played a long and amazing set, with a blend of old and new songs (although only Siberian Kiss from the first album) that really got the crowd moving. They had great energy, and the fans went crazy!

  • This venue and show was a nightmare

by sonduska on 8/13/13Music Hall of Williamsburg - BrooklynRating: 1 out of 5

Got to the door @ 8:30 and they said it was full capacity and we would have to wait and maybe get in if people left. I got texts from 3 friends that had the same problem - 2 even purchased tickets for an outrageous price on ebay. Bouncer couldn't be nicer but the event was very poorly organized. The outside started to fill up with ticket holders that weren't allowed into the venue. I said screw it and went down the block for a drink. Never again. Waste of a trip.

  • Great Show!

One of the best GlassJAw shows I have been to in a while. Daryl was happy and the band just kicked a$$.

  • Wild and Crazy with Glassjaw

by AstralVV on 8/12/13Music Hall of Williamsburg - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

It was the second best Glassjaw I've even been to. Number one was in 2001 when they had todd and they released silence. They were definitely On and the crowd was rowdy as hell. Jumping from the stage and crowd surfing furiously as well as having props while doing so. If Daryl didn't like someone on stage with him he would just kick or punch them off the stage. It was great! The venue is awesome. They allow you to come in and out as you please and have a great restaurant right next door. Definitely a great experience and great venue.

  • Glassjaw's Back

by GortisKhan on 5/31/11Best Buy Theater - New York CityRating: 4 out of 5

With the recent announcement that Glassjaw will most likely not be releasing albums the way bands traditionally do, they went ahead and released two EP's that are equally as good, and both variably different. That being said, Glassjaw played a few secret shows before the show at the Best Buy Theater in NY in March, and Im glad they did, becuase the warm up sessions allowed them to rock the place. Maybe it's becuase I'm from the town next to them, but I have always been a slave to the glassjaw rumors and speculations. However, no rumors here...Glassjaw tears it up everytime they get on stage, and with the new batch of material to use, their live shows will continue to showcase the greatness that Glassjaw exudes. Highlights: "Natural Born Farmer" "Pink Roses" "The Gillette Cavalcade of Sports"

  • Glassjaw was awesome!

by Tra1 on 5/23/11El Rey Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I had a great time and the show sounded great. I wish Darrel remembered all his lyrics but he has a great voice and is a real good performer.

  • Glassjaw rocks The Paradise

by MezmerizedEyes on 4/19/11Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

It's been a long time since I last saw Glassjaw.... before Worship & Tribute. I wasn't sure how they would sound with 2 new members and 3 Head Automatica albums later. I have to say, they killed it! They plowed through a 20 song set and sounded great. The new material is slamming and it was really cool that their merch crew was giving out The Coloring Book as we left. It hasn't left my car since the show. My only complaint is that they pretty much ignored EYEWTKAS, which I understand, but that material is classic and should stand apart from any BS with RR. In any event, great show, great sound, can't wait for the full length! Keep killin it Darryl!

  • by Anonymous on 3/28/11Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5

AMAZING! Seating is pretty much anywhere, there is even a great view from the bar. I prefer to push myself to the front of the stage for most performances.

  • Glassjaw always rocks

  • GlassJaw and VOD was AWESOME!

by WreckingJoint on 3/26/11Best Buy Theater - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I originally bought tickets without looking at the other bands. Then I went to the GJ site and saw the awesome old school flyer, and that Mind... And VOD were playing. It was lime the 90's again, and I lived every min.

  • Glassjaw/Best Buy Theater

by Amanda8oP on 3/26/11Best Buy Theater - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Both were amaze-balls. I've never been to that theater before and it's sick. The sound quality was amazing and Glassjaw killed it. Highly recommend both.

  • Fierce

by TheClash on 3/26/11Best Buy Theater - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Best Glassjaw show yet. Not only do they still go it, but it's actually NEW music. I didn't know anyone was making that stuff anymore. Thank God they are still playing.

  • epic

by Phalico on 3/26/11Best Buy Theater - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Glassjaw did not disappoint. The lighting and effects went with the music seamlessly making a unique expierence. I've been a fan for a long time, and this was my first time seeing them live. They played a nice mix of old favorites and brand new stuff. The coloring book EP given out and the end of the show sounds amazing.
