About
After spending much of 2013 focusing on his R&B supergroup TGT -- which also features Tyrese and Tank -- Ginuwine shifted his attention to his solo work with the planned 2014 release of a new album titled Old School Young -- his first solo recording since 2011's Elgin. His successful stint with TGT included the release of an album titled Three Kings, which hit No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart, and a tour that had fans snapping up tickets for concerts in major performing arts centers.
Ginuwine, born Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, is a native of Washington, D.C. who grew up listening to the music of Michael Jackson and Prince, which inspired him to begin performing. After he was discovered by the R&B group Jodici in 1996, he was signed by Epic Records and released his debut album, titled Ginuwine... The Bachelor. It spawned the hit single "Pony," which is a good example of his influential brand of hip-hop soul. Among the other hits in Ginuwine's catalog, which inspired young stars like Ne-Yo and Chris Brown, are "Differences," "In Those Jeans," and "So Anxious."

by RLC on 8/4/25Bally's Event Center - LincolnRating: 2 out of 5So having been to Bally's Twin River before for a concert I was let down by the fact that I purchased second row seats and once the headliner started performing they let everybody behind us in front of us at the stage so it didn't seem fair that we paid for our seats and still ended up 10 people deep and for those of us who are short we buy the close seats on purpose so we can see also the headliner was not great much more preferred the opening act over him
Performance was great but needs crowd control

Made it impossible to enjoy the show but i guess concert etiquette is just out the window nowadays. The venue should have done something for those of us who bought the more expensive tickets so we could have actually seen Ginuwine from our intended view. Ginuwine crushed it tho! So did All-4-One
All4One was amazing

He probably should have started drinking after he sang at least 3 songs, but the audience could tell that he was drunk, and high as soon as he stepped on the stage lol

He was upbeat, fun, interactive and grateful! The venue on the other hand -_-. The security was so serious and aggressive that you thought they were protecting the president, the seating was crazy because they would not allow you to sit down without an escort as if it was difficult finding your seat, and the row of seats were so long that people getting in and out was a bit of a pain, which didnt really bother me because people need to use the restroom, get food and enjoy the concert with a drink. Would I go to another Ginuwine concert? Absolutely!! Would I go to this venue? No!
